I have several suitcases which have lost their zipper pull-tabs. It is a real pain to grab the zipper head and pull it to close or push it to open the zipper, because sometimes those zipper teeth bite, or something inside the suitcase jabs your hand and barks your knuckes! I hate to throw away a suitcase just because of this, but when I checked with a luggage repair place they wanted to charge the cost of replacing the suitcase to fix it.Paracord Planet Zipper Pulls came to my rescue. I thought I'd try these, since I didn't have another great option. Normally the zipper pull comes off, apparently because the head of the zipper, where the pull-tab connects, bends open a bit, and the pull tab slips out. The paracord zipper pull is thick enough that it doesn't slip out the gap like the old, missing zipper pull did. And, the ones I bought are PINK! You know it's your black bag when it comes out on the luggage return with a pink zipper pull!Now, I have a couple of these in a little plastic bag in the outside pocket of each of my suitcases, just in case another metal zipper pull goes missing on my trip, so I can just loop it through and have the bag repaired in a jiffy. Pinch the paracord, shove a loop of it through the zipper-pull loop on the head of the zipper, tuck the pink end through the little paracord loop, and pull. Done and dusted!You will be very happy you bought these.

As someone mentioned, I needed a screwdriver type thing to pry them open. My son's clarinet case had lost ALL of the zipper pulls! (4 in total!) so he was taking 2x as long to open it by wiggling his fingers to start it and pushing the zipper along. These COMPLETELY solved that problem, AND I ordered yellow (his favorite color) and another positive side effect is you can't ever loose where the zipper heads are when the rest of the case is black, and all the zipper pulls are bright yellow. Seriously couldn't be happier with this purchase:)

Very annoying that they came pre-assembled making it a pain to disassemble for custom installation on certain zipper pills. The product description does not state they are pre-assembled, and identical zipper pulls from other vendors typically are not. Would have used a different vendor had I known.

I needed these to add to zippers on a small backpack that had standard zipper pulls. They were difficult to dig out of the seams and grab onto. These paracord pulls work perfectly! I used all but one, so I have a spare.Highly recommended!

These look great, are easy to apply and strong enough to do the job. I have bought two sets over the years and apply them in any place where having a sturdy pull could be applied. Sometimes though the hole on the zipper pull is too small so try to get a sense as to whether these will fit the zippers you want to apply them to.

These seem durable and the paracord would not pull free of the plastic handle. I tried them all because earlier reviewers reported this as a problem, but I couldn't duplicate it with the ones I purchased. The plastic handles on the ones I received were different, though, and didn't have ridges on them.

Love these zipper pulls. Easy to put on a zipper that has an opening. Makes it so easy to pull zipper up/down, especially if you have arthritic hands. Hold up well through the wash.

Got them to replace the cheap ones on a shoulder bag I also picked up from Amazon. They're fairly large but luckily I was able to get them through the zipper loop on the bag and so far after a few months use they haven't come loose or frayed.

Good price and delivered quick, however the pull tabs are a bit lighter then the photo. Not the end of the world but not as dark are the photo. Otherwise very pleased.
