I started off with the Guided field sharpener by Worksharp and was very impressed. However one of my knives cutting edges needed to be reshaped as i wanted the cutting edge to be a 20 degree angle. I watched lots of reviews on this that said it was great value for money and was very efficient. They were not lying! This is very easy to use, very easy to set up and very efficient. I was able to reshape my cutting edge to 20 within 15 minutes and it is now razor sharp. Great job worksharp. Other similar precision sharpeners cost 3 times this much so im very happy with the purchase. It also has a 3 year warrenty for peace of mind

Excellent product, very easy to use and it gives fantastic results. A little patience is required initially as it can take a little time to get the blade back to a uniform cutting angle but once this is done it is so simple to keep on top of the sharpening. The only drawback I would say is the rod which the sharpener runs up and down on could do with being slightly longer and have a physical stop or lug to stop the sharpener coming off the end if you are sharpening a wide blade but with practice you do get into the hang of it.All in all an excellent purchase you won't regret buying

For someone who has only ever used v-blade sharpeners, this was a whole new experience, and a very good (and cheap) introduction to angle-honing sharpeners. Once put together, the unit is pretty stable, although it won't take much too rough handling, and it's too small for knives longer than about 10-11 inches.That said, it produces a very good edge, even on some of my old knives that have rough/cracked blades, although a step short of razor sharpness. The manual is good, and explains how to stroke the blade properly and test the burr after each round.The main thing I wish is that it worked a bit faster; but for that you need a motorized unit, and they _start_ at around three times the price of this one. My best time for sharpening a knife so far is 40 minutes, and after you've done two or three it gets a bit tedious; but the edge you get beats any other sharpener I've ever used.

I took a punt on this product after the company products were mentioned several times during my research.the way it has been designed addressees a lot of the problems inherent in other devices. Easy to setup and use with decent YouTube backup instruction videos.Buy with confidence, does what it says on the box!

I own quite a few different knives as I do a lot of camping. After first purchasing a wet stone and making my knives even more blunt than they already were I came across this product.Having never used it before now I'm amazed at just how easy it is to use. Simple to set up and if you Google "knife profiles" it gives you a list of appropriate angles for different knives. Now armed with this info I set to work.I can't believe I haven't had this to iny life before now !After working my way through ally different knives, then around the house, everything is now razor sharp ! It's simple, effortless and quick, taking just 5-10 min on each knife.Thoroughly recommend this sharpener to anyone. 10/10 😀

After blunting most knifes I've got by sharping stones. I had to buy this work sharp station. Its an amazing ive sharpen most of my knifes, ive even done a pair of sissors just to see and they are now sharp aswell. Its worth ever penny spent. The down side is I need more knifes so I'll have to buy another one or few.

Price of this bit of kit is unbeatable when you consider what you can do with it. Ideal for blades less than six inches in length. Can be used for larger blades but a little more care required. Used on pocket and kitchen knives and all now hair-cutting, razor sharp! Easy to put together and use. Ideal for the beginner/intermediate knife sharpener. Worth every penny!

My wife is a chef and I use knives for work, we needed a way to sharpen knives as we have tried sending my wife’s knives away, but it started to get expensive. I tried using a whetstone, but found I couldn’t guarantee the angle which meant the edge was never keen enough.I saw a video of this machine on line and decided to buy it….. I’ve sharpened around six knives with it now and found it really easy to use and it really does put a wicked sharp edge on most knives… as long they’re not too large i.e. a large carving knife!It does take a while to use, so you will have to be patient and there are lots of videos on YouTube to help.
