Of the three translations of the Satcharita I've read, this one is the most eloquent, even poetic. At first I was turned off by the numbered verses, which struck me as awkward and reminded me of the Bible, but I gave it a chance and am being richly rewarded by the sense of Sai Baba's presence in each chapter.

It's a wonderful book. 90 years after it was written it is still as relevant. A must read for anyone looking for answers to the meaning of life.

This is a complete translation of a biography written by one of Sai Baba's devotees during his lifetime. For decades a condensed version by N.V. Gunaji has been the major scripture distributed. This complete version translated by Indira Kher adds more demension to G. Dabholkar's biography. I highly recommend learning about the life of Sai Baba of Shirdi.
