Professional Elegance
I initially hesitated about purchasing a Moleskine notebook, not due to any particular concerns but because I thought a basic high school notebook would suffice. However, as I aimed to refine my professional image, I sought something that exuded professionalism while remaining practical for my needs. The Moleskine brand proved to be the perfect fit. The XL size (7.5"x9.5") struck the ideal balance for me, providing ample space for notes during my numerous meetings while allowing for organized page layouts.Utilizing a gel pen on its pages, I've had no ink bleed-through issues. The inclusion of a page definer offers a more sophisticated alternative to my previous adhesive tabs, and the elastic band closure ensures my notes remain secure, even during travels.I also made a wise decision by opting for the soft cover, which offered flexibility for storage in my purse or bag while maintaining its durability. Although the selection boasted an array of colors, I settled on classic black, a timeless choice that complements any setting. My initial experience with the Moleskine brand has been highly satisfactory, delivering style and functionality beyond my expectations.

Great notebook
Love that it lays flat. Really like the B5/XL size, the softcover and that it's thin. I used to buy deconstructed journals but they were twice as thick for the same number of pages. I keep all my journals and the amount of space needed to store them is crazy for my now downsized life. The moleskine will be perfect. This was also a great price.

Best Notebook Around
Can't really find anything better than a Moleskine for writing. Pages are smooth and college lined - if not smaller, so you can fit a lot of words into this book. i've had my current one since early this year and have been writing profusely on both back and front of pages and i'm still not even close to halfway through it. I would suggest not buying this if you are unsure if you'll like it/actually use it very much because the price is quite high and they're are comparable notebooks that are much cheaper. This book is made for a hand-writing lover; the paper is silky and off white with simple grey lines so very minimalist. it hold up well and is great to travel with, plus if you lose it there is a place in the front where you can enter your contact information. I highly recommend this notebook if you are serious about paper or even just like the style, but if you're not sure how much you'll use it, i wouldn't spend so much and i'd spring for a cheaper notebook of a similar style, which are pretty easy to find.

Excellent product!
Great product! The leather really is amazing and I just love the pocket in the back. It's extremely durable and very high quality. I accidentally purchased the "Large" thinking it was the standard notebook paper size but that was my fault not looking at the dimensions. Still, I've found a use for that size. My only input would be a page in the front with a table of contents like the Kikkerland LBM11 Leuchtturm Master Ruled Notebook, 8.75 x 12.5 Inch which is also offered on Amazon. I might have to purchase one just to compare.>>Update<<I just bought and received the Lechtturn Master Ruled Notebook 8.78x12.5 inch. Don't bother, Moleskine is the absolute winner. Lechtturn's notebook is a hardcover and while the leather is fine, it isn't as fine as the softcover Moleskin. Also, the size is just HUGE and impractical. The only nice thing about Lechtturn is the table of contents and the numbered pages, otherwise it is way too big, the ruling does not go from page end to page end, and is too heavy.

Great convenient notebook for use almost anywhere
I use this notebook as a daily journal...or at least, I wish it was daily. Nevertheless, it is a pleasure to write in. It lays almost flat and the paper is of good quality, even a fountain pen does not bleed exceptionally. It is not Clairfontaine quality paper, but it is certainly manageable. The binding is sturdy and has held up well, while the soft cover is a nice supple material that is pleasant to handle. The back cover pocket is very handy for storing notes or other items. The elastic band has held up well and still holds the cover shut.My only complaint with this notebook is that the glue holding the bookmark in has let loose, so I have to be careful not to lose it. This may be just me, however.

Excellent quality, well built
I used to get Five Star notebooks all the time because they have a nice rugged cover, a lot of paper, and tend to be able to withstand a beating. While I still have fivestar for scratch paper, the Moleskin notebook is by and large both more stylish, and sturdier. From my first purchase, I've since bought several Moleskins and have yet to be disappointed. I like that it has the built in marker, and the strap to help keep it shut. One of the most annoying things is when you are packing and a piece of paper in the notebook gets snagged and either rips or gets crumpled. The strap helps keep the papers together and combined iwth the solid-yet-flexible cover, they are well protected. The color of the paper is also softer on the eyes. It is a yellowish tint, as oppossed to stark white with blue lines. While a bit more expensive than other notebooks you may use, it's easy to see where the money goes. The quality far surpasses other notebooks. If you are just looking for scrap paper or brainstorming paper, go with a $1 notebook. If you want to write notes or thoughts and keep them, this is a good buy.

Notebook is fine, damage is not.
Notebook itself is great however, it came damaged. Not bad enough to the point of no return (or really, yes, return) but like, come on. These notebooks aren’t cheap…
