Hi. Is the back side of the emblem hollow or is the badge one flat piece?

It’s not hollow but you see the and print of the letters and numbers from the back. But I would not recommend this product. After only about a week and a half I found the actual letters falling out of the emblem. I have since removed it from my vehicle .
