Govee LED Light Bulb Dimmable, Music Sync Color Changing Light Bulbs, A19 7W 60W Equivalent, No Hub Required Multicolor Bluetooth Light Bulbs with App Control for Party Home (Don't Support WiFi/Alexa)

Have mistakenly bought a couple of other brands because their ad copy was confusing about what they did or didn’t do, how they connected, etc. The first ended up needing a hub which I didn’t have or want to buy, the second worked on WiFi or Bluetooth but when I got them all set up the app never could discover or connect to them.This brand however was excellent right out of the box. The Govee Home app is pretty simple and laid out well. The bulbs themselves screw in like any standard incandescent and unlike the others there was no “turn them on-off three times till they flash slow or fast then activate the Bluetooth...etc., etc.”I just turned them on, went into the app, the app found the bulbs immediately, let me rename them, and that was it. After that they worked exactly as advertised. You can set them to virtually any color, you can try out the many custom color palettes or lighting effects or create your own.Bluetooth is said to be a limited-range but at least in our one-story ranch house, about 1610sq ft., I have yet to go anywhere on our property where I couldn’t connect and control any of the lights so far installed. Your own mileage may vary if you have a multi-story home or especially thick building materials between rooms/floors. So far I bought a two-pack and put one in the main living room lamp, the other in my own bedside lamp as seen in my picture, and I can control either one from the other room which are at opposite ends of the house from each other. They have a brief delay in response-time but nothing annoying.My wife uses an Android phone while I use an iPhone. We successfully tested that either of us can use the app for our respective devices and control the lights the same either way (though only one of you can control the lights at a time, it won’t let you just send commands back and forth; each user has to briefly reconnect with the given bulb to then control it).I have some mobility issues and also an upcoming series of surgeries that will further temporarily keep me bedridden and with little comfort to stretch to reach light switches or pull chains. This will give me that much more control over things without burdening my wife to turn lights on and off for me.All in all this appears to be an excellent brand and an excellent model of their products line. I intend to buy more in the future, just wish they offered 4-pack boxes like some of the other brands for even more volume pricing value. But all in all I have no complaints, VERY happy with this product.

Yes, these really are great. They are brighter than their advertised 7w and that was a pleasant surprise. They match my 12w Hydong bulbs for white and colors and the black light frequency is superior to the dedicated highly rated dedicated black light LED bulbs I bought both in terms of wavelength trueness and brightness. These things have very high build quality (better than my previous expensive 12w Hydong bulbs from Home Depot) and the Price is Great! Finally, the app is really good, works well and is easy to set up if you follow the 2-3 step directions. Given that I bought them for less and much less than most brands, these are a great deal and very easy to recommend. I will be buying more.

These two bulbs are the H6005 model that includes more functionality than the static color bulb on the right, model H6001.If you're looking for affordable RGB LED bulbs with good color range, brightness, and an easy to use app, I can't recommend these enough. Govee has a great user community and customer support. In the small time I've started buying their products this year, I've seen their app improve greatly and new products are in development.You can create 'scenes' that adjust the color/functions of multiple connected lights (strips, bulbs, etc). For my purposes I have them set to a timer. Couldn't be happier for such an affordable bulb.

These have been working great for me.Both worked right out of the box and the connection to my phone was easy enough.I have wifi light strips from govee and I much prefer the bluetooth connectivity these bulbs provide.The color depth is nice and I've had minimal issues changing the lights. The "normal" white bulb can be very bright if you want it to be or very dim. Really nice for days where you have a headache but don't want to change the lights to different color.I've had the rare occasion where one or both light bulbs disconnect from my phone and refuse to reconnect, but a turning the lights on and off manually or restarting my phone fixes it right up. Slightly inconvenient but hardly an issue.

Provides all the features that i wanted--a bright deep red and a sleep/wake timer. Very bright bulb--just as bright as Aputure Accent B7C bulb which is much more expensive. works directly with your phone app--no router required (which is a plus for me). The only negatives are 1. the timers only work with white light. Would be nice if you could have it wake/sleep with a red light. And 2. I could not get the bulbs to be recognized with iOS 16 phone. I eventually got it to link to iOS 15 phone after several attempts--put app into search mode and THEN screw in the bulb--saw the bulb immediately then.

Never heard of the brand before, but it was cheaper than the brand I usually get so I figured I’d give it a try. The app is cool, took a little time to get the hang of doing custom lights, but overall pretty easy and fun. Have had no issues and will for sure be getting more. And the life expectancy is pretty good too! Almost constant usage over 6 months and still going.

These are so bright and easy to use. Being able to adjust the warmth of the lights is a huge help in making a room feel cozy. I like that if you have these in your ceiling light, when you flip the switch it returns to the last white light setting you had it on so you can just set it and forget it like a normal light bulb. 10/10, will purchase again.
