I absolutely love this sharpener. I ordered it to replace an old electric pencil sharpener because the soft-lead pencils would break in it, and it no longer works. This sharpener works with the soft lead pencils and does a great job at getting a very sharp point. It looks good and is easy to use.

This sharpener works very well. This is the second one I’ve bought. My first one broke because I kept dropping it, so be careful with it. Yes, I know, I’m not supposed to drop a pencil sharpener, but the cord kept getting tangled in my chair. The sharpener give a very sharp point and has a pretty good capacity to hold all the shavings.

This works well for my students. my students in the classroom like being able to push it down. The noise level is not too disruptive, but I still wait for students to sharpen before I speak.

It’s perfect for artists who use color pencils as a medium. It sharpens to a blunt tip or a pointed tip. The sharpener stops when the pencil is sharpened and doesn’t waist your pencil. It’s definitely a must have!!!!

This pencil sharpener is amazing!!! It makes the pencil so sharp and I don’t have to guess how long to leave the pencil in for. It stops once it is the sharpness you set it at. It’s lightweight and easy to move around. It lasted me the entire school year with 5th graders but only because I didn’t let the students use it unless I was too busy to sharpen their pencil for them

I just received this today and had to try it out right away. I do a TON of greyscale adult coloring books and pages, and probably have just as many different brands of colored pencils. Needless to say, I have tried many pencil sharpeners over the years, and most were 'ok', so I wasn't expecting too much out of this one either. Well, this one completely blew me away. If it keeps working as well as this, I will never need to buy or experiment with another sharpener again. It is a strong powerhouse of a sharpener, and the points on the pencils are as sharp as little needles! Seriously, very, very pointy! I don't believe any of my other sharpeners have ever sharpened to this fine a point. Never again will I purchase another USB sharpener, as I don't believe any of them are as strong as this little guy is. Using an AC Adapter will ALWAYS beat USB when it comes to pencil sharpeners. Wait until I tell all my coloring and FB groups about this one! <3

Ótimo produto. É elétrico, precisa ficar na tomada para funcionar. Vem com adaptador e carregador. Ótimo, pois você controla a ponta do lápis e também o tempo que fica apontado. Serve para lápis comuns mais finos e lápis jumbo mais grossos. Gostei bastante.

Me encantó. Deja la punta de los lapices de grafito superfina en su máximo nivel. He usado lapices Staedler Mars Lumograph, Staedler Mars Lumograph Black (que son un nivel intermedio entre grafito y carboncillo) y Caran D'ache graphwood ,y deja muy fina la punta en todos estos. Posdata: No he usado Conté a Paris Pierre Noire u otros carboncillos porque para estos prefiero usar una navaja y lija para sacarles punta.

Update: after using for a few days this sharpener has lived up to my expectations, so I've upgraded my original 4* rating to 5*. With some reviews specifically stating that the plug is not UK & others making no mention of what is a rather important element of the product, I asked the question on here and received two very helpful replies confirming that it does not have a UK plug and an adaptor is required. So I went ahead and purchased together with a US to UK adaptor. This is a fabulous sharpener - set to the sharpest point I put it through its paces with various brands of coloured pencils (Holbein, Polychromos, Derwent Artists, Luminance, Derwent Drawing). I expected the Drawing to maybe cause an issue being the thickest core and very soft, but it was no problem; lovely sharp point. Auto stop prevents over sharpening and it is very easy to empty. So I'm delighted with my purchase but would suggest to Amazon that it would be more useful to the customer if the 'Buy It With' section recommends an adaptor rather than rechargeable eraser refills!!

EDIT: Using my sharpener for the second school year since I bought it and it is just as good today as it was in the beginning. Today a lead broke off inside the sharpener and I couldn't get it out. Thought I'd ruined the sharpener. But then read the notes under the description which say to use another pencil to push down and the lead will be ejected. This is exactly what happened and my sharpener is working great again. So thankful for the note in the description. Still highly recommend this sharpener to everyone!

Item arrived with a US plug so have had to purchase an international plug converter. I have not been able to use the sharpened as yet though reviews are pretty good.
