I really love this camera! It is great for someone who wouldn't be using a more expensive version of this action cam on a regular basis, but just wants to bust it out every once in a while!While I do love this product, there are two small discrepancies I have:1. The remote is NOT waterproof. The description says waterproof, however, the insert that comes with the package states "splashproof." Please keep that in mind as we broke ours the first day out and the battery exploded oozing out battery acid from the remote.2. There is a lot of feedback and "noise" when the camera is on video mode. While it does pick up the regular sounds, it picks up a lot of sounds from moving the camera in any which direction. A little annoying, but happy to deal with it for the price point!All in all, this product is great for me because I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a name brand action cam since I won't be using it that often. Can't wait to keep using it! I'll just use the self timer function now that my remote is broken.

this is an excellent little camera for the bucks. I and my daughter took it on a bike ride and it worked great. It came with a ton of connectors, straps, and mounting 'stuff' which can be used to put the camera just about anywhere from, top of a helmet, handlebars, dash, and probably car fender, etc. There are only two buttons to navigate option settings and menus which is kind of a pain , but all things considered, this isn't a big deal. I'd take a star off for this, but the price was too good so I'll stay at 5. Switching camera modes is not an 'on-the-fly' operation either. It came with a nice hard-shell case which seems to be generic. Most of the accessory stuff fits in there, but not all. You have to be creative to make it work but it's the thought that counts, considering the price and all. Its also wifi and uses those little tiny memory cards like what you use in a cell phone. On our bike ride, we forgot to bring the remote. Having it would have been handy.

So while looking for an alternative I came across the Action Pro-X GoPro like clone.Key features I was looking for was same body size/still as the GoPro to allow it to mount to my Quadcopter. Had to have quality video rated at 1080p. This camera had that plus so much more.Some of the features i really like about this camera - I love the rear panel display with the included menu control system, very nice. What i also loved was the include remote control, that thing is awesome, allowing me to remotely take pictures and start and stop my records.The camera also include a wide assortment of mounting brackets and cases, couple key ones being the always handy waterproof case and the head band system (never got one of those before with my other systems). The accessories way exceed what you will get with a normal GoPro but about standard (give or take) with other GoPro Clones.I was very impressed with the quality of the image but it is not quite up to standard to my GoPro but really nice and has a green tint to the image/recordings.The one feature I do not like about this camera is that the video is encode in MOV format, not my favorite format as I would prefer MP4 encoding.On the positive side this camera out performed my other GoPro clone I got a few months ago in picture quality and also battery operation time. Clips, mounts and slides are all very cheap plastic that won't stand up to any type of use. On the very first day after receiving it, a clip broke while attempting to use it. (See attached video). I tried other clips and mounts, trying to be very careful with them. 2 more have broken and now I have a camera with a great waterproof housing, but no useful clips to use it with. Walking around carrying this thing is completely anti-useful. I bought this to use as a hands-free action cam, but now it is a hands-free stored on a shelf non-action cam as I am afraid of it falling and losing it when another clip fails. I paid full price for this item with no compensation by the seller or the vendor.I was looking at action cameras for awhile. I researched the GoPro brand and found that they were great items, but out of my budget.I found this ASX ActionPro-X camera and the reviews on Amazon and across the internet were very favorable. The quality of the camera was good, and the images/videos were very good also.The problem I have is with the accessories. It comes with a bunch of connectors, and other items that generally if you are not very experienced with this type of product, you will have no clue what to do with them. The instructions even label them as "Mount 1", "Mount 2", etc.The accessories feel cheap and flimsy. As I was looking to cobble together a usable mount to test, one of the clips broke the first time I tried to use it. Unfortunately for me, it was one of the 2 or 3 that I would find useful. I don't use the headstrap (My head is far too big), nor do I bike, so the handlebar mount is useless also. I knew that I wouldn't use the handlebar mount when I purchased it thought.Overall, I feel that the value to price ratio is very good. I am disappointed that the accessories are breaking on first use. That is the reason for taking 2 stars off the review.

Worked for a few days. . Now nothing. Turned on and off on its own. Wrist strap was cheap and didn't work. Would stop recordings on its own after we started them. Camera function would often record video instead of taking photos despite using it correctly. Short window of return. Closed for returns before we even got to use the camera for our vacation. Head strap broke on first use. No chest strap included.
