π Pump Up Your Adventure!
The BTP12 Dual Stage Electric Pump is a lightweight and compact solution for inflating your inflatable stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). With its high-pressure piston pump, it automatically stops when the selected pressure is reached, ensuring a perfect inflation every time. Note: 12-volt battery not included.

Great for both iRocker and (with one small addition) Whopping Wakooda iSUPs
We have two iSUPs - an 11' iRocker and an 11'8" Whopping Wakooda. Our family is about to buy a third iSUP for this summer, so I decided it was finally time to consider a powered pump. This review covers what it took to get the pump to work well for these two models of boards. I do not know about the long term reliability of the pump yet.One problem going into this is that the hand pumps that came with our two boards absolutely will not fit the other board (I've tried). I learned from contacting iRocker and reading questions here on Amazon that the BTP12 would work on at least the iRocker. I ordered the BTP12 planning on making adjustments somehow to inflate the larger board also. I expected some DIY work ahead. However, since the next board we order will probably be another iRocker, I figured I'd at least have a way to inflate two out of three worst case. The pump was just delivered an hour ago. It comes with a nice carrying case with separate compartments for the hose and for the wire attachment to the battery (one end of the wire attachment has alligator clips, the other a snap-in connector going to wires to the pump). This machine pulls 20 amps at 12 volts - that's 240 watts. Probably best to keep the car running during pumping to provide power from the car's alternator. Otherwise, with a bit of use you could potentially end up with a dead car battery.I went out to the driveway to try it. Car running, pop the hood, clip-clip on the battery, and it's ready to go in seconds. First I pumped up the 11' iRocker. No problem at all! Went to the max setting (I'd turned the dial all the way), which the product literature says is 14.5psi. Suddenly I pictured myself sipping a beer watching it inflate, instead of pumping it up myself. Nice smile from that. The pump automatically shut off when it reached 14.5psi. Life is good!Remembering that iRocker said to let the pump cool for 5 minutes between jobs (and the product literature says not to run for more than 20 minutes), I let it rest a bit. Let the air out of the iRocker, then decided to try the deflation outlet on the pump. Moved the hose to the outer connector. Fired it up and watched - the air was sucked out of the 11' iRocker like one of those food vacuum sealing machines! The deflate will not automatically shut off however, so you want to be standing by to push the off button. This will be really useful the next time we take our iSUPs on a plane as luggage. Might beat manually rolling it up each time too. Deflation didn't long to wait around for (a minute or so?).Next I thought I'd just bring the Wakooda out and play with it. After waiting 5 minutes, I put the connector on and was shocked to see that it fit! Fired the pump up. It started inflating! Now just as I'm starting to picture a second beer, I hear hissing noises from the Wakooda. The board is only just filled with the first air at 0 psi to make it take shape. Bummer! The connection wasn't tight enough. Defeated for now. The hardest part of the manual pumping would still be left.I tried changing the rubber gasket at the end of the connector with one from the Wakooda hand pump. Nope. Flipping the existing gasket around? Nope. Still leaked, couldn't get past 2 psi at the most. Next, I left the existing gasket on and added a thinner one on top of it (see photos). The pump took off and never looked back until it hit 14.5psi! My smile was back in a big way. The attached photos show the adapter as it comes in the package (inflates the iRocker this way), and then with the additional thin rubber ring needed to fully inflate the Wakooda. This pump rocks. With the modification, though, I thought I might like to have an extra hose to use with it. Then I can have each hose set up ideally for each iSUP model, instead of taking rubber gaskets on and off each time (it's fast and easy, but it seems like after 20 times they could start to wear?). To that end, I emailed iRocker directly. They responded within hours. iRocker said they could find me one for $20 total with shipping and tax, and would just send me an invoice: pay if I wanted to order, ignore if not. What service! I immediately paid and got a message right back that they were sending the hose out first class that day. Based on this level of service plus how much we like the overall quality of our 11' iRocker after a year, I think our third iSUP has to be an iRocker too.Pros:+ The pump makes noise, but it wasn't as loud as I expected. It starts off a bit quieter up to 0 psi and a full board, then kicks in and works its way up to 14.5psi.+ The product appears to be well made. The case is nice. I didn't see evidence of trying to cut corners.+ No problem taking this on airline flights. Not very heavy or large. Just toss into checked luggage.+ If it's sold by iRocker, my experience so far is that there's great service and support behind this pump.+ Works great on iRocker iSUPs, and with the addition of one little rubber gasket, will also fully pump up a Whopping Wakooka iSUP.+ The iRocker filled in just under 5 minutes, the big Wakooda in about 6 minutes.+ Deflation (after opening the valve) was faster than inflation by a lot. Maybe a minute or two total? This worked fine on both board models.Cons:- Some people might not like hooking this to their battery. It's not hard at all - clip the red to the red, and the black to the black. I think anyone can do it. Since it's pulling 240W, it sure isn't going to come through the cigarette lighter/internal power adapter inside of the car.- I have seen one other review where the consumer went through two of these quickly burning out. I hope this doesn't happen, but even in his case he said iRocker made it right. We'll be watching the reliability.- You need to delay between pumping to let the pump cool. Hey, there's other stuff to do then anyhow to get ready, right?- I'd rather it go up to 15psi, but I doubt we'll be able to tell it's just 0.5psi lower.- Deflation while quick does require you to manually shut off the pump (not a big deal). So far I'd heartily recommend this pump.

Game Changer!!
Wow, game changer! I got this pump for my two Tower inflatible SUPs. My family and I love using our iSUPs and we really like the fact that getting inflatables makes it a lot easier to transport our SUPs place to place and store them. But the one drawback has always been the major workout involved in inflating the SUPs to full pressure with the manual pumps they came with. It takes a lot of arm strength for me, every once of strength for my wife to do it, and the kids really can't get it to full pressure on there own. So every time we take them out, there's a little bit of dread for that first 15-20 minutes of pumping up the boards. After reading several reviews on Amazon of high pressure iSUP pumps, I decided to go with this one. It was more expensive than others, but I wanted something that would be well built, last, and actually get the SUPs up to pressure. I just received the pump today and tested it out, and it worked great. Simple to hook up, and literally you just press the button and it takes care of the rest. Inflating my Tower iSUP took about 5 minutes. I was worried that the adapter might not fit tight enough or something, but no issues and it inflated to pressure just fine and turned off once it hit 15 psi.Bonus is that it also works great to deflate the iSUP, sucking out all the air which makes it really easy to compactly roll the SUP back up for transport and storage. Definitely pleased so far and looking forward to testing it out in the field!

great investment
I don't know why there aren't any reviews on this product because this pump is AWESOME. !! Best investment I have made in a long time. Got my isup to 15 psi no problem. It was confusing through because it came with an attachment inside of the hose ( see picture), with this piece the isup attachment wouldn't work it was just confusing. It took me a little while to realize that the piece inside the hose didn't need to be there and needed to be removed and the isup attachment inserted there. Then hooked up to the board no problem. About 5 minutes, maybe 6 and the board was at 15 psi and shut off right automatically. Makes a little bit of noise but I am sure that is typical. Great purchase, and 2 day prime shipping!!

Works Decent But Loud
For the price I was expecting the pump to blow up my paddle board a lot faster. When you begin airing up your board it is quiet and then after a minute or two it gets really loud. I turn it off and back on but it does not quiet the noise. The pump is still airing it up but the loudness is somewhat annoying.

Can't use for a stand up paddle board
Never really worked. Will blow up an inflatable raft and my SUP to about 1/4 of the way. Doesn't ever shut off, once pressure gets slightly high it makes a horrible noise and then I manually shut it off. When this pump reaches its max and I switch to my manual pump that came with my board, the gauge doesn't even read 5 PSI. At the end of the day, I still need my manual pump for most of the inflating. Defeats the purpose of this. Very disappointed. (I have a red paddle co 10'8''). Also, the description of what purchased was the Dual stage, not single. This should be able to fill 95% - 100% of my SUP.

Works but it's loud
Loud but it works. I use it to inflate an Outwell "air pole" tent and it works just as I hoped. Hook it up to a 7ah 12v battery for complete portability.

Three Stars
its great for paddle boards but wish I could use it for my other inflatables..

Excellent pump but hose is only for SUPs
I actually had to return this specific pump and get the exact same pump having inter-changable hose adapters from another vendor. The hose that comes with the pump from this vendor is ONLY for SUPs. The pump itself is excellent and very efficient when using it to inflate a Zodiac inflatable boat.

works as advertised
I am using this to inflate our kayaks and must not over inflate it. The pressure setting gauge works great and the pump works very quickly it doesnt seem to use to much power, and over tax the battery.Over all it is a very useful little machine and gets me on the water quickly.
