I full time RV on a 3 season trailer, and used this on my huge glass windows to push me through winter because my 1500 Watt space heater couldn't keep up below freezing temps, and wanted to save a bit on propane.First impressionsWithout this, you can feel the chill from the windows within just one foot of them.With this - you don't.So I did a simple experiment (See image)I applied two layers of this to 3 of 4 windows just to measure what one makes. My 1500 watt heater would plateau at about 78 degrees with 40 degree weather.After applying a double layer to the remaining window, there were immediate results as the temperature went from 78 to 82. Mind you - this was happening as the temperature outside was still dropping from 40 to 35. So if this makes this much of a difference with one 2'X2.5' window, I can only imagine 4.The circle on the first image represents the inside temp when this took place.The circle on the second represents that the OUTSIDE temp was declining at the same time (I'd say about 3-4 degrees or so).Conclusion -These things will pay for themselves in propane/fuel costs within days. Can't wait to test them against my Air Conditioner during hot summer days.If this helps anyone, I'll post an update with those results.

I needed insulation in a structure that I'm using as an office and didn't want to deal with fiberglass and all the mess that goes with that. I figured I would give this a try. Don't hesitate, this stuff is incredible. It's thin and light, reflective on both sides, and it's all in one - nothing else needed. No vapor barrier needed, nothing. We literally unrolled it and stapled it up, cut where needed and used aluminum tape for some corners. And you could tell it worked after just finishing the ceiling portion. Once the walls were done as well, you could really tell. It was 10 degrees last night and it was comfortable in the building. Turned on a small heater and the space heated up within 10 minutes. I'm actually sort of blown away, it's so good that we ordered more to do another space and we will use the leftovers in a chicken coop that we are building. It doesn't smell, doesn't tear, is waterproof, rodent proof, mold proof...but mostly EASY to install. It took two 100 foot rolls to do the entire 288 square foot space. Just cut it with scissors or a blade where needed, easy to get around electrical outlets. Easy to hold overhead while stapling it to the ceiling. I'll never buy fiberglass again.

Wow. I had a heating problem in my small greenhouse. My propane heater was going through gas like a hole in my head. I couldn't afford to heat it as fast as it was using it. I put one layer of this stuff on all the side walls. Drastically cut down on my heating needs. Can leave it on 1-2 instead of 4-5 now. This stuff is definitely worth the investment in my book. Easy to cut to your needed size.

Purchased for my 22ft class A. Product is thin, easy to cut with a knife or scissor. Had enought to do all my windows even large front glass. Used scrap to insulate plumbing. Made a huge difference with the heat 15 - 20 degrees cooler. Hasn't been freezing here but it definitely keeps the heat in. I don't feel the coldness from my windows in the bed area.Before ordering I measured all my windows to get a guesstimate on how much to order, 25 ft roll was perfect!I cut mine with little tabs to lock into the window frame. You can tape them in but if you want light daily it can be a hassle. Magnets glued on would be a great option too.Definitely worth the money!

Our Passion SwimSpa came with a standard bubble insulation on it's side boards. Probably about and 1/8th or so. We bought a roll of 50' to wrap our spa a bit better and results are simply awesome - temperature is maintained solidly now days without spikes (at night).Took us about an hour to remove all panels and install it and put everything back together.Highly recommend this product for insulation of stand-alone appliances.

Worked great for cutting down the radiant heat from my door! ONLY complaint is I ordered 50ft and only received 49 so my door is missing a section of insulation

Product is good, here's what you should know, it shrinks under Heat, and sunlight. So if you're making this for visors for a car or some kind of window shading and you cut it to fit perfect, and a few weeks or a month the Sun shining on it will shrink it creating at least a half inch Gap all the way around, if I were to do this again, I would unroll everything let it lay out in the sun for a few days before making any measurements or cuts

Bought this for a cold snap (-15) for my greenhouse. This helped significantly!
