It's a light to improve the quality of your streaming... didn't find the light very great. Definitely didn't improve my sleep patterns on days I used it.Semi-bright but mostly just irritating.

There's nothing about the function of this light that I have a complaint about. You hard press the power button to turn it on then do a quick press of the same button to switch between light modes. Hard press for a few seconds to power it off. Two more buttons to adjust brightness. USB charging is simple and the mount is decent, but I wouldn't call it robust.My issue is that it's $55. It functions great and the fact that it comes with a really good USBC cord AND a USBC to USB A adapter is a big value add.If it was $40 I'd tell you it's a good deal and worth every penny, but at $55 I might look for something more affordable. Now that I have it I'm not going through the trouble of finding a cheaper one, but if you're on a tight budget you may want to look elsewhere. But do I regret getting it? No, but Amazon has spoiled me and I want stuff cheaper.I'm 100% recommending this light. I just hope the price goes down for you.

It's a nice product, well designed and works well but doesn't put out a lot of light. If you clip it on a laptop and are directly in front of it, like within a foot or two, it's fine and puts out a soft and pleasing light. I work off an external monitor and the light sits about 30 inches away from my face where it's too weak to really illuminate me for a zoom call. I like it but have to supplement it. Maybe two of these together would work well.

Less than 2 years old and this product stopped functioning. It will not stay lit, as though it is uncharged. However, it is actively plugged in, so power is not the issue. Unfortunately, I've been busy and did not get around to reaching out to support until today. Exactly 7 days after access to support expired. Planned obsolescence at it's worst. Not a crazy expensive product, but, also not chump change. Plus, at barely more than 2 years old it is trash. This is why the planet is dying.

I ordered one of these to place on top of my monitor for Zoom calls. The window in my office brings in lots of light, but only on one side of my face. Logitech camera works best with blinds closed, but face was dark.I first tried the light directly in front of me, which was OK, but when I put one on the far right side of my right monitor it filled that side of my face perfectly (full brightness). I ordered a second one that I just received, and have put it on the far left side of my left monitor, with the brightness turned down a bit.This is a perfect solution. I can see the screens fine (no bright light directly in my eyes), and the illumination on my face is uniform when I lean forward or back.Color temperature options are great.I use it with the cord attached all the time.

I bought one of these and was really pleased with the results. It mounts securely to the top of an LCD monitor or laptop lid (appreciate the felt on the clip to reduce scratching risk). I really liked both the brightness adjustment and the color adjustment that allows me to compensate for office lighting (fluorescents) or daylight (I face a window). Also, despite being bright, it doesn't seem to be very glare prone (even with glasses) or blinding.However, a few weeks after purchase, it started turning itself off after a few minutes. I bought a replacement unit that also eventually suffered from this problem. I was about to write a scathing review, when I tried plugging it into a different power source (laptop dock rather than old laptop USB port). This has made all the difference. Both are now staying on, so I'm back to loving this light.

I wrote an earlier review regarding how after having the light a little over a month and only using it a few times, it would only stay on about 5 minutes and then shut off - several time in a row.We decided to contact the company. They were very receptive and responsive regarding our complaint and immediately sent out a replacement light. We received it after a few days. Their customer service rep. stated it was not common for this to occur but it does happen occasionally. We are assuming that there is a safety mechanism built in which may shut the light off if it overheats. Perhaps it was faulty. Regardless, the company's customer service was excellent and we are satisfied with the light.

With the current shift to online meetings as a dominant business practice, I've been looking for a light that would 1) clip onto the top of my monitor, 2) did NOT use a suction cup mount (reviewers tend to report they fall off), and 3) that was adjustable for brightness and temperature. This light met all the requirements, provides an excellent level of fill light, and significantly improves my image.I found that the overall construction was excellent, and the included cable with adapter exceeded my expectations. Clearly the manufacturer focused on quality. Granted, there are cheaper alternatives out there - but this works, works well, and will continue to work for a very long time. The only possible 'nit' I found is that the monitor clip is a little loose. It works well as is, and the light stays in the position I place it. I just would have preferred a little tighter hinges.

I had this camera for about a month as I work in a bedroom with poor light, it started to go off randomly then stopped working after a few days.The clip that holds the camera to the monitor is flimsy and the cord if bumped even slightly will cause the light to droop or pop off. I spent more time correcting the light then it actually being turned on before it stopped working.
