Lee Precision Reloading 243 Win Ultimate Rifle Die Set

These are good and do the job. I thought I'd include some photos of what I received since the Amazon photo is some kind of stock photo. Something interesting about my die set is one of the dies has a hole on the side of the threads, and I'm not sure why. I contacted Lee support and they explained that was for case lube grease to squeeze out of the die to prevent denting the case. So it's supposed to be there.

I had been using a much more expensive set of dies including a micrometer competition seating die. I was not satisfied with the amount of run-out I was getting with the set. I saw on AccurateShooter.com that some folks were getting pretty good results with the Lee Die set. I can confirm that I have gotten much better results with the Lee set than with the much more expensive set I was using. The collet neck sizing die works great in conjunction with the standard seating die. My run-out is typically in the .001 range, so I am very happy with the set.

I ordered this set a few weeks ago with other equipment. I am new to reloading and was very excited to begin making my own cartridges. I read and watched videos explains that it's important to clean the dies before starting. When trying to dissemble the full length resizing/decapping die I couldn't remove the decapping clamp. I tried everything but it seemed as though it was placed on so tightly that there's no way to remove it without damaging the entire die. I even tried WD-40 to see if it would loosen up but it didn't work either. Contacted Lee and their response was send it in and we will look at it. It's brand new and now I have to pay extra money to ship it back. The instructions say considerable torque may be necessary but I just don't understand why they would make this so tight from the factory. I will send back for them to look at but to be honest I probably won't purchase lee dies again.

Dies work great. If you are buying these to use with a Lee Turret and Auto Pro Disk, you need an additional die NOT included in this set. This is not clear on any of the literature, for the dies, for the turret or the Auto Pro Disk.

Doesn’t work . Quality Control department must have been on vacation.feels like I’m sizing the outside & inside of the neck which doesn’t work

As with all the Lee range a well made die set containing all you need to deprime, full length size or neck size, powder measure and bullet seat in a particular caliber. It’s all top quality steel in a tidy box with excellent instructions. As always with Lee products the price is very competitive and if used properly it will last a lifetime
