Excellent GSM GPS car alarm - but make sure your 2G coverage is good
2G is not high on the list of most cellular providers, ATT canned it completely. My T-mobile 2G signal is between 0 to 2 bars on a my cellphone. To get a better link use a SB698SMA3 small patch antenna from Pulse Larsen.Like the call forwarding feature to check the sim card balance for instance.One thing they could improve on is to limit the number a door alarms to a preset value. It goes off ever 3 minutes now. Also the manual could be more detailed in certain section. My GPS green light is blinking and sometimes steady. I like to know what the difference is.Again, very good product. Wish they came out with a 4G version so I could use ATT which has better coverage in my area.Update 06/10/2022: Recently had problems with delayed SMS acknowledge from the unit. The return SMS could take 24 hours or more. Interestingly, the single location command with calling the unit still worked normal. Turned out the problem lied with t-Mobile. I'm using 2G and i believe it is band 5 (1900MHz). Now after getting a newer sim card (with the same phone number) from a t-mobile store the issue seemed to have gone away. THe old sim was more than 8years old. BTW, i'm using the unit for anti-theft mainly and do not use the GPRS features with automatic tracking.

Disappointed
Look just as picture . I came back to to tell a bad news so with this tracker I can go to the store and even reach home 2 days after and it shows the care still at the store now that’s not good if the car got stollen the tracker can’t help me I pay 162 Dallas to installed it and now am going to have to get a better one and pay again I just waisted a lot of money .
