Most white LED flashlights have a terrible spectrum. Rather than being a smooth blackbody curve, they are a mix of blue LED light and orange from a phosphor in the plastic housing. This makes a bimodal light curve that is disorienting and color-distorting. Their light looks like something from an 80's fluorescent tube. And forget about night-vision if you turn one of those on in the dark. That high-frequency blue triggers rhodopsin that blocks your night vision for half an hour.But a yellow LED, while also not a true blackbody curve, is unimodal and near the middle of our visual range. It's like candle light—gentle, but nearly natural. And being shifted toward the red end, it doesn't disrupt night-vision very much. Need a quick light while out in the dark enjoying the night? Use yellow LED light. These little keychain squeeze lights are perfect!-Physicist who likes to go night-hiking.

So first i saw the purple bundle which was UV light (i was looking for the UV), then i saw the mixed colours version (thought they were all UV as well), but turned out the colourful version has only one UV light and others are just LED.So basically they work well, but the title is not well made, thats why i got confused and others as well when i searched for the answers here.

Works well and is very light weight! Got them the next day. Gonna share with my thrifting buddies so we can check for uranium glass!

I purchased product for astronomy. These lights are doing their job.

Just what I was looking for. Small, lightweight, compact and put out good enough light to get things done with out killing night vision. Recommend! Since I just got them, I can't speak of the battery life.

Half of them don’t work. I expected the wattage to be very low so that’s anticipated but 3 of them didn’t turn on at all.

I got these for illuminating firefly beads, and boy do they work!! They also light up stains on carpets, etc., haha (bonus) so you can identify where to spot clean. They are key-chain style so you can attach them and use them as a flashlight too. I ordered 2 boxes to give out as gifts.

I like the fact that these mini flashlights are very lightweight don't weigh down my key chain. I also appreciate the fact that I have the option of continuous light instead of just flashing light. These two advantages were a big factor in chooing these lights.I bought the 'party pack' of 7 different lights and I'm happy it gave me a choice because not all colors perform the same. The best are the white and black who both have a bright white light. The others would be ok (if you like weird lighting in a dark parking lot!), but the purple one is just about useless, I don't know if I just ended up with a dud but the purple one I got isn'r good for much.All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase and would buy again but, next time, would go with a set that gives out all white light.

These little keychain UV lights are great to include with jewelry that you make from glow in the dark Murano beads. They lights are bright and last a long time. Will purchase again!

I was expecting them to be a little less bright than they are and what a pleasant surprise, especially for a UV LED.

These are great for keeping the lume on my watch going.
