Was a little sceptical given previous reviews of this unit. However, once I had taken receipt of the item it was perfect in every way. fabulous quality, so easy to set up and although I had planed to hard wire this to my Server, its wireless pickup worked great, even though situated well away from my router.Set up was a breeze and virtually all automatic. All functions easily accessed and set up and works brilliantly as a bluetooth receiver also. I wired this through a Technics Amp and the sound quality is absolutely fabulous. The range of scan, and network connection works brilliantly and the scan of channels in all formats was also quick and automatically set up. I purchased this due to my old Technics tuner struggling to pick up a decent RDS /FM signal but there are no such problems with this Tuner. I don't think I will ever listen to FM again as the DAB works perfectly and with crystal clarity.Once Channels have been automatically scanned and programmed, it gives the choice to manually rename FM Channels but I dont feel the need to do this as the Internet radion and the DAB radio list all necessary information on the colourful screen at the front of the unit. When in sleep mode, the clock is a handy function to have too.So in summary, and Excellent piece of kit at a super price. definitely recommended.

it is a bit light on feel/build quality, but tuners generaly are. i wanted it for th DAB radio and blue tooth functions. i am using it with an ARCAM 8R amplifier and Bose 301 Music Monitor II speakers and it produces a sound close to CD quality of my NAD 660 when using the blue tooth mode. in DAB mode 6Music and radio 4 and local bbc staion 3CR for footy game commentry, the sound quality is as good as CD . reception of DAB signal is excellent but i am lucky to live in a good DAB reception area. blue tooth mode reception is good for up to 3 metres. it has FM but who wants it, it connects to the WI FI modem which is 5 metres away and there is a substancial amount of internet stations available. having tried the Majority FITZWILLIAM prior to this i feel this has better sound quality and reception. with the Majority FITZWILLIAM i had to turn down the bass on the amp with this i can leave the amp settings alone. one gripe i have with both units is the displays are too small and they do not supply playing info when using the blue tooth mode. in DAB mode you get the usual info such as track and artist playing but not in blue tooth mode. the remote control unit feels a bit cheap but it does what you need it to do. the build of the unit and remote feel cheap but that is because the price is. in sumarry it produces a good sound quality, but that may depend upon what you are connecting it to and it costs a little more than the price of a stylis.

This is a review of the WR-10 HiFi Radio Tuner:I have only had this for a week, so I will comment on it's reliability at a later date.It looks good with a nice black finish on the front.Easy to use, with clear instructions. Every thing can be done from the remote control (which comes without batteries) except switch the power on. Switching on and off from standby can be done from the remote control.Internet radio was easy to use with the stations categorised into genres, and the genres being subdivided again.The DAB and FM worked fine from and an old TV aerial in the loft (which can be adjusted). The FM sound quality was particularly good.The sound quality through the headphone socket was also very good. The headphone volume can be adjusted on the receiver and on the remote control.The clock clearly displays the current time and sets itself automatically.I have already had one batch of updates after switching it on, which is encouraging , because it shows that the software (and station list is being maintained). This service is free.It is very hard to find any negatives:The red standby light is a bit bright, which could be a problem for people who sleep with it on standby (to use the alarm). And the power on/off switch is at the back, but easily reached by me because it is at the corner on the left.I fully recommend this radio tuner.

There is no support for flac. There is no streaming app, so no Spotify, Amazon etc, no Undok. Appauling FM and DAB quality with a dedicated chimney mounted aeriel. Bluetooth is very distorted at frequencies below 200Hz on the right channel only - strange but true, sounds like a blown woofer! Same on headphones and SPDIF out, so must be a firmware problem (same on 3 tested units).1st unt sent, had intermittent WiFi and distorted sound as above.2nd Unit had no working WiFi, worked on LAN and distorted as above.3rd unit as second but the remote didn't work either.Conclusion, there is no quality control, the build quality is awful, (close pitch ICs are hand soldered, not re-flowed and have dry joints) the firmware / software is poor and limited.My 4th unit is a Hama branded streamer from Amazon, which is the opposite! It was £100 more, but excellent value for an internet tuner / streamer, will play and do everything I want, excellent build quality, excellent sound quality. Not in the Linn league but very good indeed. Spend the extra, buy the German option.

This tuner matches perfectly with the rest of my hi-fi stack and I can now stream music via my PC and Bluetooth through a decent amp & speakers. I had no real problem in setting it up and the choice of radio stations available is mindblowing. My only very minor criticism is that the DAB antennae supplied is just a wire which does its job but doesn't stay in position to give the best reception. I have just ordered a mast one which should make this tuner the perfect addition to my sound system. I wish I had bought it years ago.
