Hercules Stands KS400B Autolock Z-Keyboard Stand

I needed a stand for my digital piano, and I wanted something that was easy to set up, easy to adjust, and sturdy. This stand does the job perfectly. It's well-constructed and extremely easy to set up. There's nothing to assemble or put together - just pull it out of the box and unfold it. The width and height are very easy to adjust as well (there aren't any screws to mess with, and nothing that will pinch your fingers). The stand is really stable and there's padding on the two arms to help keep the piano in place.

This is a fabulous stand for the money. I had to send it back, because of the height of the support bars, using a Kawai MP7SE, but that is NOT Hercules's fault. I am going for a 28.125" key plane height, and this stand does provide it perfectly, at its lowest setting, but because the MP7SE keybed is so tall, and because of the way I play, where I have to move around under the keyboard, i have leg movement issues. Truth be told, a standard player / piano player, probably would be fine, and if I wasn't going for the standard grand piano key heights, I probably would just raise the stand, and then raise a bench as well. Anyway, don't let me scare you off, if you have a Kawai MP-SE series, but I felt it was worth mentioning. This is a five star stand dudes.

Stable with enough adjust range for seated playing.

I get a lot of compliments on this. Traveling/carrying is a challenge because the legs swing out on their own. I’m going to use some Velcro cable management tape to wrap around the legs when carrying so they don’t swing out.

I purchased this item and received it and am very very pleased and satisfied with the merchandise. Had it not taken so long to deliver, the company would have had another star.

adjusts easily for standing or sitting. my keys are not wide (Nord) so there’s a ton of room, almost too much. i wish they made a more narrow one. i use it for gigs and easy enough to fold and carry. one beef is i wish there was a way to fasten down the arms so they don’t flop open. i used a quick tie for longer hauls. i also remove the end caps and use onstage inserts to attach mike and ipad holders. i like plenty of room for control, sustain and program up/down pedals, and throw down a sticky pad to keep them, works nicely, my legs never hit the piece and ample room.

I bought this stand for a 76 keys keyboard. I am trying to learn how to play that keyboard- sitting on a chair. I think that my keyboard likes this stand. I like this stand too! I am glad that I bought this stand.
