No more bumps on the head!
I've used and reviewed some other A-Premium parts for our LR2 and have been happy with them so I was willing to give their hood lift supports a try. Once you understand how to manage the clips to get the old struts off, these will slip right on easily and quickly. They're the same length as the factory struts and hold the hood up fine without requiring too much effort to close afterwards. The price can't be beat compared to the factory parts.

If you are propping your hood open with a broom handle, this is your fix
No one likes a guillotine car hood, and it only takes one time of it suddenly slamming down on you before you are either jamming a broom handle under it, or snapping vice grips on the hood struts. These are a reasonably priced solution that only take minutes to install and have, so far, worked like new. The dealer will charge you an arm and a leg for these, but these take care of the problem. The hood on our Land rover is solidly up and not ready surprise me with an appendage amputation at the slightest breeze. If you need the hood to stay open, this is for you.
