I mounted two of these in a display case. Very nice indeed.

I installed these as theater accent lighting and the result is great. I don't know why there's so much confusion about the transformers but each came equipped with one. I used the lights three different ways. Since the light and transformer weigh so little, it was easy to attach to the dropped ceiling panels for spot lighting. I also painted selected walls from either the ceiling or the floor and the results are perfect - bright enough to light up a wide area with no spillover. The tv was too large for me to move it so I snaked a lamp up behind the tv for the picture contrast light but I did cut the output with a bit of black electrical tape. The lights are small enough I can fit them just about anywhere.I also installed lights directly above the two access doors and powder room, added a momentary switch in the door jambs and wired in an automotive timer so the light stays on for 60 seconds and then shuts off. The light pattern is very focused with soft drop off so there's no interference when the screen is on. I'm amazed at how useful 1W of light can be. I've reordered and will set up one timed light to turn on in the garage just as with the theater. This way, the steps down to garage floor level are always illuminated.

Ordered one and it didn't work. There are no instructions or other informational material in the box. The online description is unclear if the transformer is in the light or needs to be ordered separately so I had no way of knowing if I had a dysfunctional light or needed another part. The price of the product didn't warrant returning it so I re-read the other reviews again. I decided the transformer was probably inside the light and I probably had a bad light, so I decided to order another one. This one worked, so apparently the transformer is inside the light. I hooked it up directly to normal 110v household current. As they say in other reviews, it comes with bare wires. Not a problem per se, just know it comes that way.

Very bright... We needed ceiling mount lights for a display cubicle 42"x30"x 24". 3 of these lights give all the light we need and can can be adjusted directionally. No dimmer or plug. The lights are dc but come with tiny converters that can then be wired to a plug or circuit. We bought a cheap white extension cord, cut off the receptacle end, and my husband paralleled the 3 light converters into the plug end. So they require a little knowledge to hook them up.

Perfect for what I wanted, which was to illuminate at night an American flag hung over my garage. Didn't need a blasting spotlight; just some basic illumination. This is only 1 watt, but at a distance of about 3' it was perfect. Very inexpensive too. Only downside is that it comes with a clunky power supply that is wired into the cord, so I had to hide that somewhere, and the cord doesn't come with a plug on it, so you have to wire it up.

No clue how this light would work. No power supply included. Saw in Q&A that a power supply was included. This is false info and should be corrected by someone. Also, no instructions on mounting the light. The base does not come off.Don't waste your time.

AMAZING little light! Very intense, extremely well made and does a wonderful job! This thing is perfect for very specific lighting. building a new house and planning very special places to install these lights! Very dramatic!

This is a correction to an earlier review. The company was very responsive. This unit DOES have an internal ac adapter. The leads appear low voltage, but now I know they are flat wire and can be wired directly into a 110 junction. No external adapter is needed.
