The Estate Swing Cell Phone Access Receiver is the ultimate in versatility and convenience for the remote opening of any gate opener. This receiver eliminates the necessity of purchasing or carrying extra remotes because it provides access to the gate opener through your cell phone. Simply dial the receiver number and, through caller ID, the receiver will recognize the programmed number(s) and open the gate. The receiver can be programmed to send a text message to administrators as well. This is more secure than traditional remotes because the number has to be programmed into the receiver to operate it, so there is less of a chance that unauthorized persons will be able to operate the gate. All you have to purchase is a GSM SIM card (AT&T or T-Mobile) and a cell number. There are two ways to add a cell phone number for the gate. Customers can either purchase a pay-as-you-go cell number (disposable phones for example) or add another line to the current cellular plan. The intercom will then receive commands from authorized users via cell signal. No minutes are used as it doesn't actually answer the calls - it utilizes caller ID to allow access to your property.

Useless. Not worth the money
I bought this receiver since my gate is approximately 200ft away from my house. First disappointment: The instructions slip was not explicit about how to wire the device (My gate opener is Estate Swing as well, so compatibility must be guaranteed). After trying different logical ways and trying to follow the scant directions on the slip I got it to work but it would be moody about when it would work. AT&T reception where I live is not the best but I get good reception on my phones and other devices. I blamed the reception for this at first so I bought a signal booster exclusively for the receiver. The result: Nothing. It would open the gate whenever it wanted. Of course that is not convenient at nighttime, having to go all the way to the gate to open it with the remote. The booster was working perfectly since tested it with other devices and effectively the reception was 100%. Bottomline: The receiver was properly wired, with optimal mobile reception but it would remain moody when it wanted to open the gate. I only have weekends to work on house stuff and I spent 3 full weekends trying to get this thing to work. Definitely this expensive thing is worth neither the time nor the money. I ended returning it. What a waste of time and money! If I could I would rate it with no stars.
