Superior tape measure
This should be the most common version of this tape measure. It is a superior tape measure plus it includes metric markings. Indeed I live in the USA, but if I'm not measuring studs or something inherently imperial, metric is so much easier to use.

Heavy Duty Wide Reinforced Imperial/Metric Tape Measure
When I was in construction, as a young man, we needed tapes that would be able to hold straight for at least ten feet, and a wide tape will help you do this. I am very satisfied with it. I especially like how the first five or so inches of the tape have an extra clear mylar layer.

A little bigger than expected, but ...
... built like a tank. I love the dual SAE/Metric scale and it was worth a bit of a wait to get it shipped from the UK. I use whichever units are handiest for the job. Finding the middle of 5' 7 5/8" us a chore that becomes trivial using the metric side of the tape, for example.
