PEPPERLONELY Green Blue Gade Big Turbo Sea Shells, Large Hermit Crab Shells, 3 Inch ~ 3-1/2 Inch

This is exactly what I needed for my biggest crabby. He took no time to move right in and even has a little extra room to spare. He previously moved into one that was a lot heavier, but this one is spacious and light-weight! Will need to get more soon for my others.

I was looking for a long time. Didn't have any experience with shells. When I received these, they looked nice, were all different sizes, but seemed little small and very heavy! So I wasn't sure if my hermie would like them.Well, I boiled 2 largest shells, put them in the tank and hermie changed into the new shell the same evening!I think he actually likes that the shell is thicker and heavier than his previous shell. It is very sturdy and offers better protection. The previous one was from the pet store, probably some sort of snail shell and rather thin.

3 arrived in good condition 2 did not. 1 arrived cracked and 1 broken. Bummed about the biggest shell arriving broken but I'm sure it's not the sellers fault and they damaged during the shipping. They're beautiful colors hopefully my Hermit Crabs like 1 out of the 3

I love these. Hopefully my Hermits will! Also order larger jade ones for my big feller.Here’s the pros and cons:Cons: Color will ALWAYS VARY. The pictures have higher saturation levels making them look more vibrant- as EVERY company does to show their products.But mine look JUST LIKE THE PHOTOS!Make sure you pay attention to sizing. Price is fair- I ain’t about to go searching for a shell in perfect condition or breed snails to 3in-4 in. Price is VERY FAIR.Last con- I tried looking up where and how the company gets the shells and if they are truly real- couldn’t find anything):Pros: feel real, look real. No holes. Cleanish- one had a spec of dirt, but they should be boiled anyway. Since they are bigger shells, they are thick. Not too heavy for a large hermit crab. Hermit crabs also modify and hollow out their shells- I hear mine click a few days with a new shell, that’s them scraping at the shell to fit them. EDGES ARE SMOOTH! At the opening- hermits love picking at a newish shell to make its eye holes.I don’t feel a coating, again they look natural, I wish I knew how the company got the shells. (Was debating snail farm…)I live in Maryland and the company is based out of California I think?The shells came in perfect condition, wrapped well and the colors are beautiful.I’ve had hermits my entire life along with other animals. My pets live long healthy lives. Try these out! My hermots will love these smooth untouched shells.

My son's hermit crab was trying on shells but they were too big. I bought these and the crab tried on two before deciding on one. Then he immediately went down for molting. The 5 shells were as described. Each was incrementally larger. Three of them are slightly larger than what the crabs have so those were placed in the crabitat. The two smaller ones can't be used by our crabs but they are nice shells without any holes.

I have 4 hermits. 2 larger in size & 2 Itty bitty guys. Its been difficult to find shells that the love & that I found aesthetically pleasing...THESE ARE THE ONES!!! My guys all love them. I 10 out of 10 recommednd!!!

I bought these for my hermit crabs. I ordered shells from here and another company both with similar descriptions, the first set was perfect and I know will fit my big boy but when I got these shells they were nowhere close to being big enough for my crabs. They are much smaller than I was expecting and not same ones as pictured completely different. Also not happy with shipping, I had 2 day prime and a week later I finally received them. Overall the shells are nice and maybe my smallest crab could use them. I won’t return them because a lot of people are saying you get ripped off when doing so. In picture shell to the far left is from another company and the others are from this one as you can see with similar descriptions they are not even close to same size.

After having no luck anywhere locally for better quality hermit crab shells I found this listing.My crab absolutely loves these shells, before this set she was hanging on to a shell that was too small, as the ones sold in pet stores are too small or aren't the right shape. Now she frequently switches between the new shells and appears to be very happy with them.Things to note, these shells are polished. With that said I did some testing on one that was far too large for her to use immediately. The shells appear to be hand polished. I was hesitant as one review said they were coated, I did not see any coating flake off, there are no odors which would typically be apparent with how much plastic these were wrapped in with hot outside temperatures. (Shells were individually wrapped in bubble wrap, wrapped together in bubble wrap, and sealed tightly in a zipper bag.)Of course always check any items intended for pet use thoroughly and you are good to go!
