This bar provides great presence to the watch. I have the watch set up with the NATO strap kit and the bracket. Very durable and easy to install. Best watch in the practical means especially with the bracket. If you’re gonna do the NATO kit with this bracket, install the NATO first. It looks tricky at first. But a little push won’t hurt the watch when the bracket is snapping into the rear.

The steel is good quality. I purchased the stainless steel variant because it wasn't painted and I wanted to customize the color on my own. I heated up the piece with a torch it got red hot like four times and the steel was really strong, never warped or melted. I heated it up so I could dip it in motor oil to get a different color and it came out nice. I didn't want something too shiny. I used wire shrink wrap that I cut with a scissor and it made it a lot easier to put the bumper gaurd onto the watch than with a q-tip like some people do. I've used the q-tip method but my method with the shrink wrap is 10x better. I took off one star for the packaging because it comes in a plastic pouch nothing else. I had ordered a case with cat food cans that was thrown into a box right next to this little thing and I'm pretty sure it slammed against the watch bumper guard a few times because I see the shape isn't perfect. Had it been in a tiny ring size box to protect it then likely nothing would have happened to it. I ordered two and both weren't perfect shape, I'm sure it was the packaging being nothing more than a plastic pouch.

It was ok but just did not sit right on my watch. It kept popping forward on one side when I moved my wrist a particular way. I sent it back. I will say I think it did look pretty good on the watch, just would like it to have fitted better. YMMV - it was also one of the cheapest options on the site. thanks!

Just got this watch yesterday and now it scratched and cracked it trying to put it on n it still did not fit.

It fits. Put one on my beater work watch and my SS Gshock
