i have had many a cheese straws. these by far are the best. flaky, cheesy, with the slightest bit of heat.

I’ve had many types but these are like the ones I know from Mississippi. Buttery, rich, toasted cheese flavor with a texture of the best shortbread. Just crumbles away with each bite…in the good way. Expensive but a real treat.

These are so good, I’ve ordered them twice now. They have a little bit of a bite and they’re crunchy and cheesy and just overall delicious. I snack on them straight from the bag. I will say this batch seems to have a little bit of an odd aftertaste. The only way to describe it is that it tastes like the machine they were making them on was making ice cream cones, the actual cone, before it made these and the taste carried over. I’ll still try ordering again, but hopefully that taste goes away.

These didn't have much flavor. Won't buy again. Texture somewhat dry.

I was unimpressed with the flavor. Nothing special. Didn't eat them all, which is unusual with cheese straws.

I read the reviews before I purchased and thought they were helpful, so I decided to put in my 2 cents worth. I am a cheese straw snob! I make my own, I buys them every where I find a new one I haven’t tried before. Currently in my home I have 4 different brands and my own homemade ones. These include, the Fresh Market, Dewey’s, Mississippi Cheese Straw, and a brand from Target. I prefer the traditional cheddar cheese vs the flavored types. I found a brand I really liked a few years back, but my husband threw out the box. Over Christmas, I purchased 2 different brands from a local store and one was superior to the other...it was the one I had been searching for! So I went to buy it and once again my husband had thrown away the box! Lol. So off I went to order the last 2 that I had purchased. I ordered directly from Dewey’s in Winston Salem and those were good, but not the ones. Then I ordered the Mississippi Cheese Straws brand on Amazon because of the free shipping, and this was the Brand! Here is what I love about these...they are a bit wider than the usual ones, they are crunchy and flaky, and they have the perfect blend of cheese and spice. So I love these.Now on to this bulk purchase of these cheese straws! They are the best and a great value for your dollar. They arrived within a couple of days. They are fresh! There are 4 bags of the delicious cheese straws! I just ordered another bulk, because my teenage daughter had friends over and they devoured these! We all have different tastes, but for me and my family, the Mississippi Cheese Straws are the best and thanks for offering this as an option!!!

I actually bought the cheese straws to give as Christmas gifts. Never having them before, I wasn't sure just what to expect. I didn't taste them until well after Christmas, and both my daughter and myself thought they would have a toastier cheese flavor. Also they have a slightly heated spice in them which was not mentioned in any description, and , in my opinion, takes away from the cheese flavor. I'm not saying they are bad, just not what I expected, so as a result, I won't order them again.

I served these on the bar at a large party. Guests devoured them, and several guests asked for the recipe. I had to admit the truth, I bought them on Amazon!
