A Good Feeling
I noticed a perked up feeling for sure :) no buzz/jittery anything like a stimulant. Just a clear and awake feeling.Felt good to feel like I did business with "good guys."Was looking for non gmo Vit. C powder. Ended up with another company whose "non gmo vitamin C," was just plain ascorbic acid molecules, made from combining corn syrup and hydrochloric acid to form the single molecule....which according to my research is not vitamin C, and is not going to do what Vitamin C does. Was happy to find this whole food source, I am allergic to everything and this works for me.I blend it with blueberry juice, Lemon yogurt, honey, and collagen hydrolysate for breakfast, and although the taste is not what I describe as pleasant, I find that I notice it less each time I drink it.I was entirely unable to even attempt to drink this when mixed with plain water. This is for health, not aesthetics. It is a little grainy, but again, all of this is more than worth it to me.

Alma powder review.
I’ve heard such good things about Amla so had to try it. I just got it so really can’t review it yet.I was warned that it had a bitter taste if not mixed into juice or a smoothie. I did use it in my smoothie and just noticed a slighlyt different taste....I will continue to use it daily. The health benefits are important!

Good Organic Value
So far this is the best amla product: packaging, speed of delivery and value. It is more finely ground than the products we have tried. The Wife and I have been using amla since we watched a Dr Greger Youtube in the summer of '16. We began buying an organic product on Amazon, then switched to the non-organic product sold at the Indian store across the street.I have been having a bad taste in my mouth after ingesting the non-organic so decided to try another organic product. So far, so good.I cannot tell any positive impact, so I have to trust the studies.Been experimenting with a teaspoon in the morning first thing. A number of months ago I tried this with bad result: blood sugar issues that made it impossible to exercise in the AM. Now my only issue is whether the amla will result in intestinal duress that means I also cannot lift weights in the AM.BTW, a teaspoon of amla in a lunch time smoothie has had no negative impact (blood sugar or flavor). I often mix 16 oz of good buttermilk with 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast and 1 teaspoon of amla. Again, nothing negative here. The yeast and buttermilk overwhelms the amla so there is no real bitterness. The canister claims vitamin-C but no amounts are listed on the back. I have not seen proof that amla has vitamin-C.

I have tested + for Arsenic .
I was + for Arsenic on a urine heavy metal lab test this month at Quest Diagnostics in Florida. tt a common naturally occuring contaminant in US in well water but also a proven contaminant problem for many indian products too. It is not possible to say the source without further testing that I am not motivated to spend money on. Also there's organic and inorganic arsenic. My level was mostly organic arsenic. It is most surely a poison and toxic. I am not blaming this product. But it is a leading possibility. Who knows. . .

Could not verify USDA certified organic status
The item arrived sealed but full of powder underneath the seal. Opening was a mess, and it looks like the culprit was a loose lid and half open seal underneath. Suspicious because of the sloppiness, I looked on the label for the company that certified this as USDA organic. It states NOP, MOSA. So I went to USDA website to see if these companies came up as legit certifiers. Yup- both come up as legit certifiers BUT Organic Aura does not come up as a certified operation under either MOSA or NOP. I went to Mosa’s website to double check, could not find mention of Organic Aura either. Since I could not verify organic certification I am returning. I tasted a pinch of the powder and it’s my understanding Amla is supposed to be very bitter. This powder was not bitter. Lastly only half the bottle is filled. I weighed it and it came in just under 16oz, probably lost the 0.2 oz in the messy opening of the container.

This is powerful stuff. Be warned. It is very sour, and difficult to mix in drinks. Product seems to be of very high quality.
