I love Sakura Micron pens. I ordered this multicolored set to use on Get out the Vote postcards but I belong to another post carding group. The colored ink just makes it fun! I love the various nib sizes you can get the black pens in. I use them in my watercolor paintings because they are waterproof and archival and won’t smudge. You can’t go wrong.

I purchased these pens for writing in my Bible. I have been looking for some that do not bleed through the pages for a long time. A friend recommended them and said she uses them for her Bible. I tried in the concordance and found that they are perfect for what I have been looking for. There is a slight shadow on the next page but no bleed through. The colors are nice as well.

The current price makes these a must buy before they go up again. Very hard to find quality pens for only $8.99I have bought many Sakura products over the years and have never had been disappointed.Colors are vibrant, are fine enough when working small spaces and don't bleed thru.

Great feel and very fine point. Easy to write and the ink does not smear.

I always buy this brand for drawing on mixed-media paper. They last a long time and the quality of the ink is good.

I originally saw these markers in a high end, home office mail order catalog. That's where I see most of my "wishlist"stuff. Their always over priced so I come straight to Amazon.I like using fine point permanent markers in my Moleskine books - they don't bleed when highlighted. The problem with Sharpies and especially Bic permanent markers is the terrible bleed through.From what I read, both in the catalog and in online searches, the Sakura supposedly had no bleed through, they're archival quality and once dry, fade and water resistant (NB: resistant - nothing's "proof").I have to admit, these markers do live up to their reputation. They go on dry, ie no need to worry about smudges or smears, the ink doesn't feather or bleed through unlike gel pens and roller balls. In fact, anyone whose used Moleskine books before knows how thin the paper is. If I write in mine with my Cross felt tip pen - that will even bleed through.That being said, these Sakura are some amazing markers. The tips are actually .45mm not .50mm and they come in other styles/sizes. I prefer a fine point and this doesn't disappoint. It hasn't gotten mushy and it's very firm so I don't feel afraid I'm going smush the point.The variety of colors I chose was traditional. They do offer more vibrant varieties. I haven't really used the other colors since I haven't been using these for drawing, yet. That was part of my intention when I bought them. I don't think I'd buy this level of quality markers, at this price, just to use them to write with. I know they'll be an excellent tool for drawing or just doodling.If your an artist or just a "Moleskine" doodling daydreamer, I do recommend these Sakura markers.

These pens are wonderful. They don't bleed through to pages underneath. They are fine enough to fit a lot of writing in a small space & I love the colors. They last a long time.
