I had to buy this because of a special diet for autoimmune issues, and wow was I pleseantly surprised! The flavor of this sugar goes so well with anything chocolate related, and it's so easy to use in place of other sugars in different recipes. The bag is large and lasts me a good while. The texture and mouthfeel of it is great, and it absorbes moisture easily so it desolves nicely into my drinks and desserts. This sugar is officially a new staple in our house for dessert making!

We've been using this organic coconut sugar for years now. Since using our blood sugar levels and triglycerides have dropped and stabilized. For the people who are complaining about the color. It IS this color because it is NOT bleached. It would be a disturbing disgrace if this product was bleached and I would stop buying it if it was. I truly appreciate that this company keeps it in as much of its natural state as possible. As a professional chef and baker, it works beautifully in all of my gluten-free and gluten-loaded creations.

I have been using this brand for years. I love it. Recently I was out of town and had to buy a different brand, which had smaller pieces. It dissolved better in my yogurt than this does. I wish these were smaller. My work around is to let it sit in whatever I am making for awhile. So I'll prepare my yogurt the night before, for example. Then it dissolves nicely, and I don't have to worry about it. Aside from that, this is great. The seal has worked on every bag I have purchased. It tastes similar to "regular" sugar in most recipes. I only notice the difference in things with a mild flavor. Just never make lemonade with it, and you'll be fine. Trust me.

Bargain! Needed coconut sugar for baking, as it has a lower glycemic index. Experiment a bit, my first suggestion is to use about half as much as regular sugar, particularly in cookies--I made gingersnaps with it, and had to double the flour to get the right consistency--it creams very differently with the butter, and everything ended up too wet... experiment, and do small batches at first...my first cookies turned into a large fluffy brownie (lol)... 2nd time with flour doubled were fine.
