Matin Digital SLR Compact Camera Body Case Black V2 - (Large) New Upgraded Version

I wanted decent protection for my pro SLR without adding too much bulk to pack easily. It's a very snug fit for the SLR body only and stays on without slipping. When you have a lot of camera gear to pack and traveling, you need to balance protection of each piece with size and weight. I recommend this as long as it's being packed in a sturdy bag like I did in my carry on backpack. This is not designed to take a drop. It's meant to provide basic protection which is exactly what I was looking for.

This is a very nice quality camera case, and I'll feel comfortable storing my Canon 50D in it during my flight. However, I took 1 star off because I ordered the Large, but I was sent the Xtra Large :( Unfortunately, the case is a bit too big. I don't have time to try and exchange because I leave on my trip tomorrow, so I'll just deal with it. If you order this, try to give yourself extra time in case this mix up happens to you, too.

Used this with a Nikon D850 with an attachment plate on it for an underwater housing and everything fit just fine. Was perfect for putting it in my carry on with low bulk but still offering protection.

I have several, one for each of my camera bodies. Every time I get a new body I go through my past orders to find this one. Works great for traveling since I don't use a dedicated camera bag. Been using them for years and never had an issue.

This fit my Nikon D5300 DSLR body well. I purchased this case for a recent trip to Europe. I planned to pack light and take my camera and lens in my carry on bag, rather than take my bulky camera backpack on the trip. I bought this case to help pad and protect my camera body while in my carry on bag and it worked great!

It’s a lightly padded camera cover. It holds a typical DSLR style camera with a standard sized lens. It does what it says it does. It is not a replacement for a fully padded case, but as a cover it is good. It’s exactly what I wanted: a non-bulky camera cover to help protect a camera while carrying and to pack it in a carryon bag. This would not work for packing in checked luggage. But I don’t check luggage.

Used this for a multi-country trip where my backup camera body was store in either carry on or checked luggage. This fit my Nikon D800 body perfectly. Excellent padding. Well made.
