A tiny bit may be too much
I was stunned. The package is so tiny! However, even a knitting needle used to dip into the bag gives a LOT. Someone suggested a toothpick in another review, and they were right, but I don’t buy toothpicks. I use knitting needles daily, mostly to knit, but because I have them, for testing cakes, and, now for this neotame. For a 20 ounce cup of coffee, I dip my knitting needle, a US 1 or to others, a 2.5 mm. I use only the tip, from the point to the shaft. I then pour my coffee over it into my cup. This makes for a very sweet cup, but don’t lick the utensil you use for dosing, it’s sickeningly sweet. Also, cover your face, with at least a kerchief, but a kerchief and a plastic shield is better, when first opening the package. Do NOT drop the pouch. You will be tasting sweet for a full week after cleaning the spill.

Not at all sweet
I put .1 gram in whipping cream, tasted it, not sweet, added another .1 gram and no change. I licked my finger, touched the Neotame and not only was it not sweet, it was bitter. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm going to return it.

How to prepare neotame for practical day to day use
As all have noted, this sweetener is extremely sweet. The best practical way I have found to use it is to mix with warm water in an eyedropper bottle. The powder gets everywhere though, so pour carefully and be sure to clean up afterwards. It even gets in the air as an aerosol, so preparing it outdoors, or wearing an N95 mask, will help if you want to avoid the sweet taste in your mouth from breathing. Once mixed, use the solution. At room temperature, two drops is about equivalent to a rounded teaspoon of sugar. There are 20 drops in a milliliter (cc); for recipes you can do the math. [With thanks to Warren for the recommendation on how to mix this.]

Hard to use as a sweetener
The trick to this stuff is getting it to spread throughout the baked good. This stuff is extremely sweet, 0.1 gram is equivalent to ~4 cups sugar. I've made a cup of ghee and mixed in 0.1 gram (100 milligrams) - therefore 1/4 cup of ghee is equivalent to one cup sugar. Cookies need the sugar for moistening and spreading so they come out dry. It works well for puddings but I haven't even tried a cake. Still experimenting.

Headaches even when diluted in water
Soon after consuming I got a headache. Tried it again days later got a headache.

extremely sweet
Another reviewer gave it 1 star for being too sweet. That is the point. It is 8000x sweeter than sugar. This packet is supposedly equivalent to 220 kilograms of sugar.Upon opening the packet, some light dust comes off into the air and floats around. You can lick the air and the nano-scopic amount of dust that lands on your tongue is enough to taste quite sweet. 10 micrograms is about equal to 100mg of sugar. You get the idea.It does taste like aspartame.

soooo sweet its bitter
I was hoping for a artificial sweetner with no after taste, and it is toooooooo sweet. I tried in lemonade, and chocolate cookies. it also has aftertaste. is there anyway I can return this or excange for stevia now? I used 1/4 tsp in 1 gallon lemonade and 16 chocolate cookies. it made the batter even more bitter.Thank You for anything you can do for me.Teresa [email protected]

Incredible!
The tiniest bit is beautifully sweet! And the flavor is really great, not artificial tasting at all. Surprising. :-)
