HydraGlo Serum has multiple anti-oxidants and rejuvenating acids. Of these, Vitamin C is the most potent. Since it is unstable, it is added as a powder upon purchase to ensure maximum potency at the time of purchase. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) begins to oxidize quickly, turn yellow in color and become less potent over time. This does not mean your product is no longer effective. Some patients prefer the HydraGlo when it turns yellow; they can tolerate the less potent Vitamin C better than the purely unoxidized version. The weaker oxidized form also imparts an appealing sun-kissed glow to the skin; this has made HydraGlo one of our biggest sellers. Keep in mind that there are many other ingredients in HydraGlo. Their potency is relatively unchanged during the use of the product. There are more stabilized forms of Vitamin C available, but the anti-aging benefits pale in comparison. Although we have to deal with the instability of Vitamin C in HydraGlo, rest assured you are getting the most potent Vitamin C available. Your skin will be proof. Directions : Use HydraGlo once a day on damp skin. For best results, use in the AM. Follow with a moisturizer and sunscreen.
