Sodium Acetate 99.5% pure crystals 3 X 1 lb Bottles

I'm going to ignore the fact that it took nearly 3 weeks for this to even ship. With that being said, the product itself is exactly as advertised. However, I did notice that it was quite dry and nearly anhydrous which is great! One more thing, this was two small bags contained within a single large bag. That means that you had two bags of the NaCH3COO contained in a large bag that was ALSO filled with the sodium acetate. Thus made the bag worthless for storage and I ended up transferring it all to a single large jar.Note: The claim that this is 3x1lb bottles is false advertising and an outright lie. Hence, why I'm only giving three stars.

Sodium acetate trihydrate

Do not buy this if you are trying to make a hot ice pack. This product is actually sodium acetate TRI HYDRATE, and I was needing sodium acetate ANHYDROUS. I did not notice until I slung a bunch into boiling water, and realized it was crystalline. From there I thought I'd put some crystals into a bag and proceed (as the bottle has "hot ice" in paranthese. ) No dice. I may have had better luck making my own from vinegar and alcohol, but this was supposed to have been superior.
