Polyester Sewing Thread Set (24 Spools, 200 Yards Each) by SMB Always

The thread came as promised. I love the variety of colors - the photo is an accurate representation of what I got. I think it would have taken me so much time and more money to find all of these colors in my local fabric shop, which is actually a drive from my home in another town, so ordering this thread set has saved me time and money. My intention is to have a variety of colors at the ready to make minor repairs to my wardrobe, and I have already hemmed pants and fixed holes in socks with the threads, finding a perfect match every time. I'm totally satisfied and would purchase again.

A great buy for a variety of colored thread that is not the satiny look of embroidery thread. I have not had any issues with it breaking or of any other poor quality.It is a great product for the money and would recommend it highly for anyone looking to add a variety of colored threads to their inventory in the event you should need an 'odd' or neutral color not found in our common every day inventory of threads.

Nice set of colors but not good for machine sewing or bobbin winding. The thread is not consistent thickness, that is, there are what I would call lint blobs throughout the spool that surround the thread so suddenly the machine will stop sewing as the thread can't get through the needle or the thread gets stuck with the glob of lint material inside the machine. These lint blobs are sporadic so you can't tell where in the spool they are located. How many blobs? I have removed five lint blobs from a single spool. Also, sometimes the thread is wound the wrong way on the spool. I mean you will be sewing along or bobbin winding when the thread stops and pulls as it is now wound around the opposite direction. Very sloppy manufacturing. Might be okay for sewing by hand, but a nightmare to use with a machine. Also, of course the quantity of thread is low. Good for people who don't sew much where low quality might not matter.

I was really not sure what to expect when I ordered this thread. I have ordered other threads in the past and when they arrived I was very disappointed. NOT the case with this thread AT ALL!!! This thread is great quality, affordable and comes in a wide variety of colors. The only downfall is that you cannot customize your thread colors - I would say this would be a 4.9 on a five star scale. You will not be disappointed if you order this polyester sewing thread. I will be ordering all of my thread from this seller from now on. I am VERY satisfied.

This thread breaks very easily - just from pulling at it to tighten a knot when you're hand-sewing! Also, the color choices are weird. There's no red, gray or brown. Seriously? Those are among the most common fabric and apparel colors! Instead of red there's pink and hot pink (?!?), instead of gray there are three grayish shades of blue, on top of the bright eye-popping blue. And there's one dark brown which is more like black. The picture is misleading. Most of these colors are useless to me. Overall, very disappointing.

Not the best quality thread, but what I expected for the price. I'm not a seamstress or anything; I bought this set just to have random color choices for minor stitching jobs, like replacing buttons or sewing up little tears in clothing & blankets.Colors are exactly as pictured.

I needed a bunch of spools of different colors and this fulfilled the mark. I've used it for both hand sewing and with my machine. The thread doesn't break overly easily. It could be easier to start the spool but I haven't had any big difficulty unlike some of the other interviewers.

Nice color section, but the thread is very thin and light weight. Have to tighten the tension on my sewing machine to keep stitches uniform.
