It has a depth of 1/8". This item is shipped unframed so the buyer would be able to choose their own, but would require a gallery frame, shadow box or any frame with multiple layers of mat board to separate the glass from the quilled paper. Quilled paper is fairly sturdy, so the cupcake can be framed without glass, as well.
