Nesco Tools 2203 Aluminum Low Profile Floor Jack - 3 Ton Capacity

The jack was shipped in a cardboard box with Styrofoam blocking, as heavy as the jack is, the packaging held up very well. The jack comes in three pieces, the main body, and the handle is in 2 parts. Assembly took about 5 minutes and required no tools, it did have a small metal rod that locked the handle socket in the horizontal position. The rod is released by turning the jack on it's side and prying the end of the rod out of a hole, then the rod flies off. The jack is beautiful, whatever is not painted blue is plated or stainless steel. The rollers and casters look like they are of a very high quality. I am replacing my aluminum 2 ton craftsman jack with this one, I needed a little more lifting power. This jack is built much beefier than my craftsman. It worked right out of the box, with no bleeding required.

The black rubber pad on the metal saddle should be removed if your frame lifting point is slick with oil or grease. The metal saddle won't slip, but the rubber pad will. No damage, but I did have a heart stopping moment. Overall, this is a quality jack with which I am very pleased, Just don't use the black rubber pad if the lift point is slippery.

The product is well build, easily maneuverable, light weight for a 3-ton jack and simple operation. My only problem was the two section handle. The two sections did not fit. The upper handle had to be milled 1/16 of an inch to fit into the lower shaft. Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied with the product.

Great floor jack. Low enough to get under my niece's Mitsubishi and plenty strong to lift my Honda Pilot. Easy to maneuver, relatively light, it lifts the vehicle in only a few pumps. Also, lowering the car onto car jacks is easy to control and makes the process slow and safe. The floor jack's packaging was ripped when it got to me but thankfully there was no damage. I would recommend this item.

Great Jack however.... In my personal goal of buying American made products, I searched the web looking for American made floor jacks. Some threads indicated that this particular jack might be made in the States. Not finding any information on the buying page on Amazon, I called the manufacture and was assured that is was made in the United States. Well, I received the Jack and printed on the side of the cardboard was "Made in China". Being a pessimistic optimist, and in short the person taking calls at Nesco Tools should either: 1) brush up on your product information or 2) be honest. Fits under cars with little ground clearance nicely.

This jack has functioned great for me so far. A real quality piece. Just beware that the jack does not arrive exactly as pictured. The difference is that the "nesco" decal that is shown on the lifting arm in the picture is not actually there or included. This obviously wouldn't turn me away from buying the jack but I do think it looks cooler with the decal.

Good jack, only used it a few times so far. It lifts smooth and steady, doesn't have the quick pump up option ( that's ok with me ) releases and lowers nice without dropping quickly, overall a good jack.
