Cassidy nails her subject and audience
I've been a fan of Cassidy since reading her disarmingly charming first book, Dizzy. She tackles serious, realistic issues and experiences in a convincingly knowledgeable way through her believable and relatable protagonists. She gets everything right about the young audience her writing targets. I'd recommend this book and Dizzy to my students and the other young people in my life.

Keeping the blue
Indigo has to cope with a sudden move, loss of friendship and a slightly depressed mom. Through this young girl's journey she discovers that her mom was being abused by her younger sister's father Max. After school one day Max was hanging around Indigo's school. He confronts Indigo and asks if he can give her a ride home. Indigo politely declines his offer and walks off. She sees from the corner of her eye Mac's blue van. Indigo begins to walk faster as the car speeds up. Indigo runs around the corner and into the flat she now lives in. Indigo is frightened by this. After telling her mom about this incident her mom stops getting out of bed and just lays there as Indigo and he sister starve. Will this be the first and only encounter with Max?

Indigo Blue
This is such a moving story ! Emotional. I love how Cathy has a way with words and just gets to you ! That's the best I can describe ! Actually I don't think I was describing it at all lol but it was very good ! Sometimes I feel a bit like Indie but she was worse off then me, her mum needed to take more care of her and they were so better off without Max !!!! Pfft I don't even know why I'm giving his name a capital ! He's not important, let me fix my mistake up max* that's better.

One of the best books I've read
Daughter's Review: The book was soo heart-touching and sad. It's a book about trying to escape from all of your problemsand being there for your family. I really felt sorry for Indigo, she was losing her best friend and she was strong for her sister and her mom. I already read 2 of Cathy Cassidy's books and I both loved them. Both adults and kids would love this book.

Loved it!
This book is written by one of my favorite authors. It's such a beautiful story that makes you melt away from your problems and enter into a world that is so relatable. Sometimes you wish you were there to give Indigo and Misti a huge bear hug.

super read
Indigo blue is a story that will make you mad and sad and happy at the same time. Though the discriptive writings are a bit low from what I read from all the cc books. There is no romance( just only 1%) I have read all thbooks of cc but this is the only book with NO flirty mode. I hope cathy will make a series of these. It could be good!!!

Indigo blue review
This story will make you gasp, due to all the twists and turns indigo, Misti and their mum have to face. It will make you upset and happy at the same time. I recommend this book strongly to 11+ kids. If you are not a reader of heartbreak, surprises and real life scary problems , then I don't recommend this book for you. I am a serious bookworm and I have read loads of books however, this book tops all other books in my opinion.
