I'm very pleased with this product. I've used Selsun Blue, Head & Shoulders, tar shampoo, apple cider vinegar, etc. to control dandruff. It seemed my dandruff was getting worse in some cases so I decided to try something more organic and came across this shampoo. The shampoo makes your scalp tingle and seems to really combat whatever scalp issue I seemed to have. It also has a refreshing, clean smell that I enjoy. My hair is colored and relaxed, but I found the shampoo to be very gentle. I will purchase this again.

I wanted a super medicated alternative to the H&S "Blue" shampoo I used for years. My Psoriasis seemed to take a turn for the more severe and the medication or camphor affect is what makes the difference in a shampoo's ability to counter the itch and flaking for me. This shampoo boasts of its peppermint oil and other such ingredients for lesser cost (although still quite expensive) than some others that have medications that perform similar results. The shampoo is pleasant, and you do feel the medication - but not as much of that medicated feeling as I would like.I noticed the lather is concentrated and does impress, but care should be exercised to be sure it doesn't run into the eyes, since it seems a thinner type. The "Head N Shoulders" shampoo I used before has lather as well, but it is thicker and stays put a bit better. I have used it for about a week so far. Other than the experience of it while in the shower being pleasant - I have not noted any drastic improvement to my condition. So I will continue using it. However, at this price - the search is on.

Purchased this shampoo but found my scalp, sensitive even after rinsing well and using the conditioner, itching though it is a condition it is designed to counter. The exciting part of finding this out is I had a conversation with Kara in customer service and she convinced me to select another shampoo from their line, more closely matched to my needs, in exchange to be able to provide a fair review of their product in proper application. I swapped shampoo from this one to the Botanical Hydrating Shampoo and I'm able to wash daily, getting it cleaned, using conditioner and NOT have my scalp itch. Not only was this a good match, I'm totally satisfied with both my acquisition and the level of customer service provided to attain it. This is a good value and candidate to periodically swap out shampoos. RECOMMEND both Botanical Hydrating Shampoo and the VIRGO LLC company who cultivate customer knowledge and satisfaction among their goals to success!

I have been using this shampoo for the last year. I have sisterlocks. I started using this shampoo based on the online reviews to treat an itchy scalp. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone, especially other women with locs. It is a wonderful clarifying shampoo that properly cleans your hair and scalp. Leaving no residue and combats the itchy scalp issue. In conjunction with this shampoo, after washing my scalp and locs, I towel/air dry my locs. Once my locs are dry I will use peppermint essence oil, that I mix with coconut oil to further treat the itchy and moisturize my scalp. Works every time.

I loved the scent and texture of this product. But...after shipping my stuff back to NC...I started using it and it caused me to break out on the back of my neck and scalp. I even obtained a chemical burn on my neck. Idk what's in the shampoo that caused it specifically...but I'm guessing the peppermint? Idk.

The peppermint with tea tree oil is my new favorite shampoo. Especially in our 90' to 100' degree weather. Fresh and refreshing. My hair is squeaky clean (which I love) but still combs out easily when wet. Recommend it highly!Later: just bought my second bottle so I won't be without. Love this!

Just wash my hair! Loves the smell. Works lovely prevent itching if you have a dry scalp! Lovely shampoo, lathers well. Very pleased.😊 I've been using it a while now and it's the best shampoo I think I've ever owned. I had scalp burn from bleaching my hair and it totally helped it I love this smell so much and it's great I highly recommend it

I love EVERYTHING about this shampoo! Seriously, after one wash, my scalp was soothed, my (very fine) hair actually had volume at the root, and it smelled amazing! I think my favorite thing about it is the cooling sensation on the scalp as you massage it in. I've never "loved" a shampoo before, but I love this one. Well worth the price.
