I bought this product as a ppresent fo my young grandson who has been interested in astronomy since a very young age. This bookhelps him to understand where all the stars and planets are at all times of the year and where to look to find them. Its simplified with good star charts. Excellent buy. Mike C

Have found this book easy to follow the night sky.

Compact little book with all you want to know about the sky at night. Really pleased with my purchase. I like to dip in and out of it to find out what I can see in the sky above my house.

The month by month sky charts are really helpful, with lists of all the things you can look out for. You have to have your wits about you, but it's an affordable way of studying the stars.

My son-in-law, who is very interested in the night sky, stars and space, said it was the best present I'd ever bought him!

The product is intended for use in the UK and Ireland, which is its only inherent flaw. Stargazing in the UK and Ireland is not something possible for a good portion of the year thanks to the weather. I know this well as I have been into astrophotography and had countless perfect nights where the only issue was the moonlight or infrequent clouds. However, a lot of these events are something I will likely not witness thanks to the ever looming clouds over Scotland and its why I've rated this product 5 stars. The product is not at fault, but the damn weather is.

This is my 4th year of buying this guide. It covers not just the night sky month by month but moon phases, eclipses and comets. This year's is the same attractive clear guide as previous years. t's good va;lue too for all its information. Definitely recommend.
