Overall, this is a great product. There is a slight taste difference between this and organic cotton, but it's not a bad taste - just a little different. It doesn't have a break-in period taste like the cotton does either. First hit to last, the flavor stays consistent. On the RBAs I use, I use this on the ones that are difficult to build on. The reason: it doesn't lose its size or wicking ability if taken down to a dry hit. Also, dry hits don't hurt, aren't harsh, and don't leave that taste in your mouth that takes forever to get out. I truly love the taste purity of cotton (once broken in), but I'm willing to give up a slight bit of taste for longevity in the tougher builds.As for choosing the correct size, measure your coil building jig and subtract 1 mm from the inside diameter of your coils. This should be the maximum size of Ekowool you use. If you need to round, round down. It can be difficult to thread (min diameter), but it easily fluffs up to fill any air gaps. I use a small piece of 32 AWG wire to wrap the end of my Ekowool so it won't expand and I leave a pigtail on it so I can thread my coils easily. I don't use many 4 mm inside diameter coils, so this purchase should last many, many years. Had I known this little rule of thumb before purchase, I would have bought the smaller diameter(s) of Ekowool in order to use it in many more builds.4 of 5 stars for Ekowool's lack of sizing guidance and lack of any other tips/tricks to use for those of us "cotton only" vapers willing to give it a try. Otherwise, I think it's a good product for those who are willing to give up a slight taste difference in exchange for much longer lasting wicks that won't choke or hurt one's throat and lungs on the occasional dry hit.

this stuff is twice as thick as some other unbraided 3 mm wick that I have - trying to shove this stuff into a ce4 is tough. I wish that I got 2 mm instead - live and learn

did not like it. My juice crystalizes in the coils and the wick addhears to the coil and cant be removed without destroying coil. I will not use it again.

Product is as described but we are no longer in the mood to use it.

Used for RDA/RTA. It works I just moved to other methods.

4 stars instead of 5 since I really dislike ekwool's taste, but I have some devices that can only use silica and/or ekowool so I use it begrudgingly. Anything I have that can use cotton get's cotton wicks, but if you must use silica or ekowool this is a fine example of what type to buy.

This is the worst wick I have purchased or used. Totally disintegrates when coiling wire around it and then you have fine particles all over your Atty. I would suggest using more durable wick. I bought 12' of this stuff and now its all a waste. BTW I got this product from hamgo so maybe I got a switcheroo situation...
