Skechers Men's Tresmen-Garo Open Toe Water Sandal

Well so far I'm very impressed with the comfort and build quality. I noted some reviews report the straps break and the soles split in two. I'll update if they fail, but for now they are above my expectations. Straps are comfortable with no stictch "stickers," fairly lightweight. Look good. I wasn't thrilled by the external guard on the straps but I can see how that can protect the feet. I've seen similar sandals for twice and three times the price, so this is a good value.

These sandals fit my 11.5 wide feet. The cushioning helps me walk with less discomfort.

We were spending a week at Padre island and I realized that my sandals were worn out. Since pretty much all of my shoes are Skechers this was an easy decision. I wanted waterproof sandals to wear surf fishing and these things are great. Being waterproof they are a little more stiff than non waterproof but it doesn’t cause issues. The soles are very comfortable with a lot of cushioning, and they look great too. I highly recommend these as everything about them is great including the price.

UPDATE 7/23/25: I loved the previous pair that I owned that lasted 7 years. See the review below. Unfortunately I had to lower my review from 5 stars to 4 stars because the sole on both broke after only 11 months, with one breaking completely through the shoe. I know shoes don't last forever, but that's a pretty big difference. Nonetheless, they are so comfortable that I am ordering another pair now. I hope that these will last longer, but if they don't, at least I was comfortable for that 11 months. ORIGINAL 6/1/24: I have owned a pair of these for about 7 years, wearing them nearly every day 6 months of the year. And, while they are still comfortable as heck and totally fine on top, the soles finally cracked where the bend. If the cracks weren't picking up rocks from my gravel driveway, I probably wouldn't have replaced them. But I did, and I AM SO HAPPY because they are the SAME SANDALS! I was very worried about an experience I've had repeatedly on Amazon that I imagine others have had as well: I buy a 5-star product only to find out that the manufacturer has turned it into a 2-star product, with the same or higher price tag. That is not the case with these Skechers. Fit, feel, and look are identical to my previous sandals. The foam is a little stiffer, but I remember the previous pair being like that when it was new, and there's still plenty of squish, so I'm sure they will break in (unlike the $80 Sole flip flops I bought here which clearly changed the foam formula to something that won't form to my foot, the only reason to spend that much and their major claim to fame). So, if you never owned these, buy them. The foam feels great. The neoprene under the straps is soft and won't chafe. The straps have plenty of play for a tighter or looser feel. And they really hold up.

I wear these when I go to the beach. Very comfortable and I would recommend.

All three straps (rear, instep, & above toes) are infinitely adjustable using Velcro -- set your foot in place, and adjust until it fits perfectly.

Great sandals! Really heavy duty tread and very comfortable on long walks through rough terrain. Size was accurate. Half the price of the Skechers outlet store. Great value.
