Tasty without the calories
Although part of a series, what I love about this story is that you can read this one without having read the others. You can join the gang at the same time Avery does (but trust me you will want to know the backstories of the others). Avery has always had a passion for baking, and she manages to land a job at one of the top restaurants in NY, but she has nowhere to live as she's not from the city. Her new boss, knowing that his best friend, Rafe, is looking to rent his carriage house, takes her to meet him and they hit it off. The chemistry between Avery and Rafe is noticeable from the start, and that's when Avery's quirky nature kicks in, and in hilarious fashion!Although the romance between Avery and Rafe is a big part of the story, there's also a mystery, one that dates back to Rafe's childhood. This book is about following your dreams, the love of family (and just because they are blood doesn't make them family), and how good people do desperate things when they are backed into a corner. It's a more light hearted book than is usual from this author - but she does it so well. Give it a whirl, it's a perfect pick me up.

OMG
Brilliant, loved the other two books, and this one is just as good. Fell in love with Rafe and Loki. Avery is a caring , loving person. Loved how she put everything in to everything she does. Avery sister Nat seems a right old laugh, but will always be there for you. Rafe has had a hard life, and came out a good man. Rafe and his dad Liam has had a hard time over the year's, Rafe has some good friends like Trace and Lucien who have always been there. Alexandra, Rafe mum is a nasty piece of work, who really needs a slap, you will understand, when you read about her. Loved how Rafe and Avery came together, don't want to give too much away , but I laughed and shouted at the book a few times. This book is a must read, you won't be disappointed. It was lovely to catch up on Trace, Ember, Lucien and Darcy. Can't wait to read more of them, so please keep on writing about them. Like I said this is a lovely book and well worth reading. Thank you for another good book.😀 x

I really am enjoying the beautiful series written by this author
I really am enjoying the beautiful series written by this author. A good story, with intregue, passion, deception, friendship, and romance woven through out. The heroine is funny with answers to every senarios that we would like to give in real life. Avery a younger sister to Nat who is a superb cook, Rafe the third brother' of Trace Montgomery and Lucian Black. Unattached. Fabulous with his hands and woodwork!has Avery as a tenant, and things progress. I also enjoyed the discription of Loki, a lovable mutt, who knows how to make his master jealous. It was also very enjoyable to catch up on previous characters, their partners and children, and move on with them. This story could possibly be read as a standalone, but the reader would miss out on such wonderful previous books, if they did. A most entertaining read. Well worth 5 stars. Can't wait to read about Kyle? Please

Yummy men and yummy treats
Rafe was happy with his life, he had a business creating what he loved, a doer uper house he was restoring to beyond its former beauty and great friends who were as close as family. Then a goofy, genius bakers, drop dead gorgeous girl moves into his carriage house. The sparks are undeniable but the story is so well written there is still anticipation of when they will get together. Just as a happily ever after looms disaster strikes and danger comes calling. A great read.

Dam!
I just adore this author, I could read and read and never get tired of it! This one is no exception, I love the way the story is so softly woven that it creeps up on you and before you know it you are up to your neck in emotion. I couldn't put this down. I spent my day off reading and drinking tea, carrying my tablet to the kettle! Avery and Raif were fantastic as a couple, thier family were great too but it was definatly Avery who stole the show! Her one liners were fantastic. A day of pure bliss which I can't wait to repeat with more from such a wonderful author.

Beautiful book
Another brilliant book from this great author.I have been looking forward to Rafe's storey and i wasn't disappointed. This book is more light hearted than its two predecessors . The action builds as the pages turn, I would have liked the dynamics to have lasted longer or to have been earlier in the story but I didn't let that prevent me from thoroughly enjoying this book.If you have read the first two books in this series then it's a must read as you also catch up on familiar characters, if you haven't read any of this series yet then I highly recommend all three books.

The best in the series.
I didn't put this book down. I read untill my eyes were strained it was so good. I loved the humour the author added to this book, it made the characters more loveable than those in the previous books, though, they were great too. Avery's character was brilliantly written. I laughed out loud a few times. It's not as heart wracking as the first two books, it's softer in its approach. This makes it no less, than a brilliant read however. Loved this and would definitely recommend.
