My son (who is 28 months old at the time of this review) absolutely loves Maisy Mouse and her friends and the simple but engaging stories told in these books. They are an instant hit for bedtime reading.They’re relatively thin paperback books in comparison to most books aimed at his age range, but this works very well for us as we already have quite enough thick card books. If your child is already quite familiar with turning or helping to turn a page, then these are good. If they’re getting used to books, then be a little cautious as the value I imagine has come from reducing the materials needed to produce these versions of the otherwise hardback Maisy Mouse books.We've quite a few books now as it’s been easy to get caught up in the sea of big and busy story books that are marketed towards parents reading to their children rather than ‘with’ their children.In this case, the author limits the narrative and the illustration detail, so your child’s attention is focused on understanding just a few things per page. But there is also a subtle gradient of increased complexity with certain books of this pack, possibly 3 levels (5 per level) e.g. some books have multiple sentences and a number of characters doing different things per page, and vice versa where only a single character and few words per page which is again excellent.Buying a book bundle like this is amazing value for money and Maisy is monopolising bedtimes in our house at the moment :)

Bought these for my 2 year old because I used to love Maisy and he's now obsessed and memorised plenty of pages they're really good subjects to help teach young kids. Very detailed in a simple way for young ones to understand

My kids both love Maisie (and panda) and the adventures they have. The books have also helped prepare the children for new experiences like going on an aeroplane, to the dentist and camping. The books are super simple and great particularly for my 4 year old but my 6 year old chap still pulls these books off the book shelf to read at bedtime too

Overjoyed with the quality and price of these books, we had one Maisy goes ... book and been looking for others... generally found A book was about £5, so all these for £20 ... amazing and I would say brand new, no damage at all .. thank you

Sometimes things are too good to be true.....thats the saying.....in this case its wrong. I was sceptical when I ordered these for my 5 year old, all these books at a cheap price ?? but I took a risk and can honestly say I'm glad I did. They arrived in a sealed plastic covering and they look immaculate. There are no creases and they look brand new, I would definitely not hesitate to buy for your child, I am so glad I bought them. I am always honest in my reviews as that's what I go on when I buy something from Amazon so feel assured that this is not a bundle of worn books, mine honestly look brand new, and they will make an excellent night time read with my son after Christmas
