Good results on sensitive skin!
Let me start of by saying that my skin is so sensitive that I can't tolerate very much -- and I'm a total baby when it comes to trying new products. But after having a professional lactic acid peel at a spa, I was intrigued. It was the first time I was able to get rid of the dead skin without using a scrub (and consequential rashes). So, being the baby that I am, I went looking for a "mild" lactic acid peel and found this one. It's great. I don't use the baking soda to neutralize as suggested, just gently cleanse with lukewarm water. My skin looks and feels so much better! There is a slight tingling sensation when you apply it -- however, it's neither pleasant nor unpleasant. You might notice initial redness, but that goes away after a while. Some things I wish I knew the first time I used this:-A fan brush will make application SO much easier.-Put vaseline/petroleum jelly/beeswax on lips, under eyes, or any other sensitive places that you DON'T want to be peeled.-Apply once a week-ish. Don't do it more than once a week because your skin hasn't had a chance to heal yet.-Apply an extra layer of moisture than you normally would.-PATCH TEST. JUST DO IT.

Great for beginners!
I'm thrilled to be able to do this at home. Easy-to-follow instructions, quality product. I noticed results almost immediately. I had some extremely minor stinging and itching the first time, but no discomfort so I waited five days and went six minutes the second time around. I abstained from using retinol cream and my clarisonic mia for 24 hours, used alcohol on a cotton ball to prep, poured just over a quarter size into a glass custard dish, applied quickly with a 1 1/2" flat taklon art brush I use for applying facials and rinsed with lots of water, patted dry and applied Philip Thomas Roth sunscreen. I waited about 12 hours before applying any makeup and then just a beauty balm, mascara and gloss. No redness or irritation and I saw an overall improvement in brightness and tone right away. My husband noticed and wants to try it himself.

Some improvement on my skin
So Forehead is the least sensitive part on my face. I put almost the same amount all over my face. I noticed the skin around my face got redder and left more scabs. I am thinking about put two layers on my forehead to even out the skin tone. My forehead is a lot darker than the rest of my face. The first peeling went well. I saw less improvement this time than the time I got done in a professional salon three weeks ago. I will see if my skin evens out after 6 times with two weeks of interval.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS, SAVE YOUR SKIN.
I had some problem with dark pigmentation on my neck due to improper care and sun damage. So, I bought Salicylic acid 30%, which worked charms and seen result. It solved 95% of my issue. Then I read about Lactic Acid being more effective for hyperpigmentation. I thought it would not hurt to give it a try. I followed every single instruction, the pre-application and post-application procedure. The greatest thing I ever did was I did not apply to my neck, I applied in my arms. After one day, I saw that the area which was regular color with my skin has darkened. I did not judge this because I know some stuff takes time to show effects. But I stopped using it as well. After 3 weeks, it has not faded, I still have that dark mark due to applying this. I am going to use Salicylic acid again and stop the use of this.If you have issue on your face or other places visible, please help yourself and do not apply this. You will be embarrassed to go out for the next month or so. God knows how much more you will have to spend to fix the issues this stuff creates. Hope this helps someone and prevents the problem that I am facing.

Works, but do your homework.
This is a great product. You do need to do your research before buying it, as different acid peels work for different purposes. I've been doing these about every 2 weeks or so for over a year, and my skin is amazing. Helps with the occasional acne, and definitely makes the pores look smaller and evens out skin tone. The first few times you do this, do NOT leave on for longer than like 10 seconds. Then gradually build up from there.

Burned, Blotchy, Redness! Beware.
I've been using the Lactic Acid from skin labratory for a couple months now (also the Salicylic Acid 20%) . For a while things were great but then I started noticing that my face was looking older, and i'm only 20. I used it to try and get rid of some existing acne scars. I used it once a week, and since I've stopped my skin looks a lot healthier. Never left it on for more than 30 seconds, and I went through one bottle previously. The second batch may have just been bad I'm not sure, but it burned the hell out of my skin left it red and blotchy for hours. So for now i'll be sticking to my regular face wash, toner, and moisturizing routine.

This is a quality product that comes with very detailed instructions on what to do (and what not to do) to ensure good results.
While I have been doing my own acid peels on and off for some time, this is my first time trying a lactic-only peel. I went with the lower strength (35%) and I'm using it immediately following their Salicylic Acid (20%) peel. I'm really liking the results so far. I experienced some extremely mild tingling on some parts of my face during the Lactic peel, followed my moderate flakiness a few days later - as was expected. My skin looked brighter right away. This is a quality product that comes with very detailed instructions on what to do (and what not to do) to ensure good results.

Too Weak
I just finished my first treatment with this and I found it too weak for my liking. I barely felt any tingling when it was on, and afterwards, while my skin felt a tiny bit smoother, it wasn't the result I was looking for. This kind of peel could be good for those with sensitive skin, but I'm pretty average and it did nothing for me.
