Purple Haze Chevre by Cypress Grove (4 ounce)

Purple Haze chevre makes a delightful, unexpected addition to a dessert plate. I had serious reservations about this variety of goat cheese - lavender? Isn't that for potpourri? But it was excellent! Creamy and tangy with just a light herbal hint. I have four other varieties on hand right now made by Cypress Grove and I'm excited that the rest will be as good as this one!

I first had this a year ago and had such a hard time finding it again locally. And suddenly yesterday there it was! Unique flavor - definite must try!
