Room 13 and Inside the Worm Paperback – May 1, 2008

Massive fan of Robert Swindells. Room 13 was a big hit with my class and an even bigger hit with me! Loved it! Room of doom!!!

I remember reading 'Room 13' back in middle school and it making quite an impression on me. I lost my original copy, so when it turned up on Kindle I had to buy it and revisit my childhood. The book stands the test of time; this is a fun, easy read, well written and with a great atmosphere children (especially children in their early teens or even slightly younger) will enjoy. Recommended.Kindle version is well formatted to suit the platform, no typos spotted.

I fell in love with this book right from the start. It immediately drew me in by creating some intense suspense, not knowing what to think next. Loveable characters that immediately felt like family. This book was incredible and I cannot wait to devour the rest of this author's work.

Only recently heard of this author thanks to a mention on "the cold war" on tv.Well he keeps getting better and better,someone who writes a good yarn and fills it with strong believable characters.Thank goodness theres plenty to go at.Anyway this book breathes fresh life into M.R James tale "Number 13" and the Lambton Worm. The author likes strongfemale leads and he's got one in Fliss. Enjoyed it immensely.
