Works perfect on my Surface Pro 4, recognizes it instantly and displays properly on any monitor I have connected it to. Definitely the best bang for the buck and works like a charm.Update 9/14/2016 Having a small issue with the Micro display port. This has a permanent home on my desk, only the surface comes and goes. Lately have had to wiggle or adjust the micro display port from this to my surface as the surface will either recognize no display or cut out if moved. Not a huge problem but did just notice it in the last few days. Will update if it gets worse or continues.

Just got this. Simply plugged it in and it connected to a DVI Monitor at work.... Resolutions on my SP4(M3) 2736x1824 and on the Monitor (Acer V22HQL) getting 1920x1080 which is native resolution of that monitor (Native Resolution: FullHD 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz) if I had a better monitor this 4-in1 adapter says it supports up to 1920x 1200 1080P and audio passthrough 7.1,5.1 or 2 channel via HDMI V1.3 (not DVI or VGA)Size is nice and slim for fitting into a small bag. 4 outputs (VGA, audio, HDMI and DVI) also has power input and Micro usb to A cord if needed. Also comes with 3,5 audio cord. 18 month warranty card. Says 2 year warranty on package? At the price on Amazon this is an amazing value. Basically seems to be able to replace my HDMI and VGA dongles and adds DVI... so now if my son borrows my HDMI dongle I have it covered. Bottom line as a Surface Pro 4 user this is a must add to your bag , even if just for backup. Good adapter when you have two monitors with different male ends (e.g., two of HDMI, VGA, and DVI) that you want to attached to the mini-display port of a computer. It will extend to one monitor and then duplicate whatever was extended to the first monitor onto the second monitor--in other words, you cannot have 3 screens, each with different images; you can have one image on your computer screen and another image duplicated on the two external monitors. Also, you have to be careful to follow directions and connect the HDMI first, and then connect the VGA or DVI end, otherwise one of the external monitors won't work. I had hoped to have extended the images to all three screens (i.e., each screen with a different image), but that is not possible with this adapter and that is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

Works amazing, never needed to give it extra power as of yet. Almost instantly connects. I use it at school to connect my Surface Tablet to the projectors for presentations and tutoring. Would recommend for anyone who needs to go from mini displayport to either hdmi/vga/dvi. It is great to have this option because some rooms in my school have hdmi and some only have vga. Instead of buying separate cables this one little box gives me the opportunity and mobility to use my tablet nearly anywhere.

I purchased this product to have both a projector and a computer monitor running at the same time, while hooked up to my laptop. The connections are loose. Not that it matters since it never worked to begin with. There was no indication that there was power reaching the device, though I'm not sure why it needs power to begin with. I ended up going to Best Buy and purchasing a Belkin adapter for a few bucks more. This is an extremely cheap, overseas product.

These things are flimsy, but Cable Deconn's are the most sturdy. By design, they will break over time just by moving them around. Be prepared to repurchase.

I had high hopes for this video display converter, but at least for me, this converter has not worked as I'd hoped.I often have to plug into various video setups through a DVI or HDMI matrix switcher. In 3 different setups, this converter would not let my laptop drive the displays on the output side of the video matrix switcher.I also tried it on my home PC connected to my TV. It was able to detect and drive that display at an appropriate resolution, but I found that finer color shadings and gradients were no longer visible using this video converter as they were with my previous converter.

This thing works great! I go to a lot of client meetings to present and never know what type of connection they will have. This covers 99% of what I could run into. The sizing is perfect no matter if duplicating or extending. Good buy for a traveling presenter.

Signos claros de haber sido usado y además durante bastante tiempo o bien quien lo usó lo trató bastante mal porque tiene rayones. Han querido disimular pegándole de nuevo los plásticos, pero con bastante poca idea.El aparato en sí no he conseguido que me dé imagen, no sé si porque está roto o porque no sirve.Devuelto (espero que no te toque el mío).

Works as described. Good product. Reliable vendor. Installed on my ASUS Z87 PC motherboard. works on the the onboard Thunderblot Mini DP port for input outputting to HDMI port as expected. driving the ASUS 28 inch monitor resolution of 1920x1060 pixels successfully. I did not bother to test the DVI and VGA ports on the 28 Inch Monitor since it just do not have the capacity to drive the monitor at a faster bandwidth and resolution and refresh rate. The ASUS motherboard have two Thunderbolt mini DP port and I have only one one monitor with DP Port . So I have an available Mini DP Port for future expansion. Right now I am using it to drive a 32" SONY TV using the the Mini Thunderbolt DP Port to HDMI adopter. All's well and functional.

Acheté pour pouvoir me raccorder sur des écrans quand je suis en mode nomade. Cet adaptateur fonctionne parfaitement sur mon Surface Pro 2.A NOTER : je l'ai échangé par la suite par le produit de la même gamme qui permet le HDMI 1.4. Cette nouvelle version permet d'aller jusqu'a du HD 4K ou 2K en HDMI et DVI !Conseil d'ami : prenez la nouvelle version...

タイトルのとおりだが、グラボがMiniDisplayport出力。ディスプレイの入力端子にDisplayportが無い。ということでコレを使っている。アナログもDVIも使えて便利だ(音声出力もOKした)。
