I just received this pair of stainless steel scissors from HappierChef for review and they are heavy and sharp! I would like it even more if I get this pair of scissors before the holiday seasons, it'll definitely make all the preparation easier. But no complaint, this year I'll be ready! :)First of all, this pair of scissors are sharp! I don't have a chance to cut any bones yet but I've used it to cut some chicken breasts for my dog and I was able to cut them with ease. Normally I would have to take out the cutting board and use a butcher knife but this morning I simply cut the chicken breasts with this pair of scissors, no cutting board needed and one less thing to wash~~ haha...I was able to get a good grip on the handles, had managed not to slip. I have pretty small hands so if I can get a good grip, you should be able to too. There's a safety lock at the bottom so it's safe for storage and I highly recommend you lock it back as soon as it's not in use. The whole scissors are made with stainless steel so it's rust resistant and very easy to clean, unlike some that has plastic handles which water can seep through and it'll become rusty or even moldy.Satisfied and would recommend!

I LOVE these!We live out in the country and we not only hunt for our food but we also raise our own chickens and these are some heavy duty scissors that are PERFECT for when I'm processing out meat.These are stainless steel...and not a lightweight stainless steel either. These have some weight to them.Easily cuts through meat... which makes my cleanup time a lot less time consuming.Had no problems cutting thru the breastbone of our chickens at all.Can't wait to give these a go next winter for deer season.Best thing about these... it has fastener on the bottom of the handle to where you can lock these when not in useI received this for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Received these in exchange for evaluation and review and I am blown away by how beautiful they are. Heavy, substantial, powerful, accurate, and drop-dead gorgeous. I have a number of pairs of kitchen shears and these not only put them to shame aesthetically, but functionally. The finish is as silky-smooth as velvet. They look like a piece of modern art. And they make short work of breaking down a chicken, separating ribs, or subdividing frozen foods. The action is smooth and sure, I can't recommend these highly enough. They are far too beautiful to hide away in a drawer- they have their own special place on my kitchen wall.
