I purchased this product for indoor, private residential home use, for entertainment purposes. It can be used indoors in a professional/sales environment, and in some cases, facing outdoors, as it is fairly bright. The product came shipped as advertised, in good working condition. The instructions were packaged on an unlabeled CD-ROMs as PDF files which I read from my windows computer. The sign itself displays everything I would want, in a few shades of red, yellow and green, and with a few different fonts. You also have 10 levels of brightness, although they are subtle. It can display date and time in a few different styles. It comes with a wireless remote control, but reading the LED screen and trying to program it via the remote is extremely hard, as the text is multi-colored, and is just too hard to read when being programmed. The LED sign I had prior to this was much easier to program with the remote. I basically gave up on the remote, and instead use the supplied windows software, which installed without any issue on my Windows 10 tablet. It comes with software installation instructions and programming directions, but I found these very hard to read. Being impatient, I ended up connecting the sign to my computer with the USB adapter (supplied) and ended up running the software and experimenting until I got the sign to do what I wanted. With the PC software, you can program several different messages to run at different hours, days, and even days of the week. You can save multiple sign configurations on your PC, and then "download" them to the sign when you want. The PC software seems "generic" in that it can control several different sign types, which means that some functions do not seem to work with this particular sign. (For example, it doesn't appear you can display temperature, even though the software supports it.) I'm still having problems getting the sign to turn off and on by itself based on time of day (which you can program it to do, but appears to be buggy.) I've also noticed that anything after 12:00AM and before 01:00 AM shows up as "00" hour. I'm not sure if this is a programming error on my part, or a bug with the software or LED screen. Compared to other LED screens, this appeared to be a good deal, in terms of price. However, be prepared to learn how to operate it with trial and error. You will need to be fairly computer proficient to understand the software. I do wish I could use the wireless remote, but it's just to hard to read the LED screen in this mode (the computer software helps).

I bought this sign for my work to display some information on our production line. The sign is very nice and bright, and it seems to work well. The reason it gets one star is the software is not included. You have to go to the company website to download. Our network firewall rejected it immediately and our I.T. guy says the application isn’t safe to download (getting a Trojan warning for it). The remote is able to program the sign, but without the software you lose a lot of functionality.If you need to program long messages or you were hopping to have a sign connected to your network, I would buy something else.Need a simple LED sign to hang up. This one will probably work ok. I wouldn’t recommend the software download though. Just use the remote.Hope this helps someone.

The remote works sporadically. Tedious to program. My TV remote interferes with this and deprograms the Display which is annoying. I would not recommend putting the display anywhere close or in same room to a TV that you use a remote with. I was unable to use my laptop to program this unit .. had to use the small remote that came with it. Poor Directions

Delivered for free; $150; It was just what we needed for our local museum. I was worried that museum staff might have difficulty setting it up, so I tried to do it at home first. I run MAC. THAT IS MY ONLY WARNING! IT IS MADE TO RUN ON PC. When I got it to the museum (on the PC laptop) it did everything that the downloaded instructions said. IT IS A REAL AFFORDABLE WAY TO DRAW PEOPLE INTO OUR MUSEUM!
