I recently switched from the Otterbox Defender to this Commuter case. I was skeptical as to how well it would hold up and protect my phone especially since it didn’t come with a screen protector but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The drop protection has held up just like the Defender but without the bulkiness or sticky rubber backing. This case is slim and easily slides into a pocket but the material is still easy to hold without being too slippery. The Commuter also has more color options than the Defender. The only downside is that if you want a screen protector you have to buy one separately, but that’s how most cases come anyways. Overall this is a great phone case and I would definitely buy again.

This case is great! I bought it for my son’s iPhone this is actually the second time we’ve purchased it he loves it so much his first case finally gave out after almost a year so I purchased this exact same one again! So I’d highly suggest it!

I have gotten this case in black previously. It works great. I drop my phone often, but nothing that would be super aggressive. This case is a great balance of protection without having to go for the bigger bulkier versions of the Otterbox/LifeProof cases. The bits of rubber along the sides of the case make it easy to hold (I find a lot of hard cover cases are shiny and therefore slippery).The only down side is the charging port cover. That little piece of rubber wore down quickly and eventually peeled off. It was only about 5 months of having it. Then without it supporting the the little plastic edge, that broke too. It didn’t effect the case’s ability to protect the phone, but it was sharp and even once I filed it, it was rough. It’s been over two years. The case was getting old anyway so I bought this pink one. I hope it lasts longer than the other one.

This case is amazing. I got it for my 12year old who destroyed two phones with other cases on them. She’s very active so I should have had this case from day one. It’s so durable and has a double cushioning layer, which withstands sidewalk drops and accidentally jumping on it while playing. I definitely recommend it.

I’ve had my phone since 2020, and since then I’ve used two otter boxes.You could seriously throw your phone around and not worry about drop damage at all. The raised bumper of the case prevents the front screen from cracking, so I don’t really use a screen protector.It can add some weight to your phone though, and the case can be slippery, so it can be difficult to hold at times but not usually. I think that only happened in the beginning while the case was new.Another unfortunate thing about this case is that the flap covering the lightning port can bend and tear, and eventually rip off. The plastic toward the bottom had cracked as well.Other than that, it was still in great condition and these issues did not affect the cases’ ability to protect my phone.I purchased this one to replace the old one, and I’m glad I bought the same one.

Wonderful product backed by a lifetime replacement. I've never used anything other than otterbox due to the protection they provide and the customer service provided. This case is easy to slip in and out of both front and back pockets, has great coverage and allows you to easily access the finger print scanner. This case is for my work phone, but I also use the same model for my personal iphone.

Excelente funda - más delgada que la versión Defender, pero aún así siento que protege muy bien. Esta la compré para el teléfono que uso para el trabajo - anteriormente tenia el mismo modelo negro pero nunca encontraba el teléfono en mi mochila negra ni en mi bolsa. Pensé que este color sería mas verde como se ve en la foto (esperaba que combinara con mi agenda), pero es más azul que verde. Aún así se ve muy bien y resalta bastante. Cumple su función, y espero dure varios años, como lo han hecho las otras fundas OtterBox que he comprado. Puede que sea más cara esta marca, pero normalmente me han durado toda la vida de un teléfono (2+ años) sin ningún daño al equipo aún con multiples caídas (eso si, recomiendo comprar un protector de pantalla igual de buena calidad). Otter Box como siempre es una buena inversión.

I, like many others, have dropped their phones on occasion. The otter box has protected the phone and we have had no issues with them. This is the second phone where we have used the otter box and I can’t see us every not using this product.

This is the second OtterBox for my SE2020. The first one gave its life to save my phone from one clumsy drop too many. I saw that some reviewers argued the OtterBox “doesn’t fit their SE2020”. Perhaps they tried to attach it as one unit, rather than the flexible inner skin first and then hard outer layer clipped on top of that. Whatever their problem was, don’t listen to them. It fits like a dream. And it can save your phone.
