Great unit, good performance, expandable, quiet, colorful and good support.
I purchased this Item June 2 2016. I have had no issues with it. I purchased the previous version of this same unit Dec 12th 2015. I have had no problems with leaks or cracks in the reservoir of either unit. I can only say that other reviewers may had damage during shipping. As for support I have emailed and spoken with Mackenzy Tea <[email protected]> Also known as Mac who had a strong accent but is understandable about issues with the unit (which turned out to be non issues and just my ignorance on how this unit worked and how to set it up correctly and presales questions) support was great. At the time I purchased these there were no other options in this price range that allowed for expansion. The others were sealed which does not allow you to add water which eventually all will need water at some point in time. This unit is pretty quiet. Because my system turns off the fans when not needed, only the water pump and radiator fans run. I have had complements from friends how quiet my system is (not that is dead silent, you put your ear up to the radiator and you will hear some noise) but very reasonable. I like both units. I would buy them again, I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation understanding any product you buy could be damaged in shipping or have a manufacturing defect. That is what warranties are for

Purchased 06/25/2017, water block began leaking 07/19/2017, replacement unit began leaking 9/28/2017
The unit is fantastic. It replaced a Glacer 240L (first gen) which, unbeknownst to me as it's a sealed loop that was never opened, had growth in it and killed itself. It keeps my 4790k about ~4c cooler than the 240L ever did, even before the growth occured. The Block itself looks fantastic, the reservoir/heatsink combo looks good, however as others have stated, the LED's are very apparent in their placement, they do not diffuse well, fortunately the actual strip is hidden by my case, so it just adds a bit of extra light to my in-case LED'sThe downside comes in the fact that it began leaking in under a month. it's leaking rather significantly as well, around a drop every minute or so whilst the unit is running.. It appears to be leaking from the threaded fitting for the outtake (bottom) of the water block. The leak appears to be an issues with the fittings threads, as best I can tell, there's where the actual leak is.The redeeming quality to the unit (and why I gave it three stars) is that Swiftech's CS appears to be excellent. I contacted them on the 20'th, and received a reply the same day stating that they would gladly replace the unit.Update: the replacement unit originally sent shipped with a leaky fitting. Unit immediately returned and an additional unit was sent. That replacement unit began leaking just over two months later. My review for this unit has dropped to one star. The design of the block itself seems to be a catastrophic flaw. Customer Support, however, is excellent.

Great product but loud
Bought the Swiftech to cool my i7-5830k and it works great. Even over clocked to 4.0 GHZ, the temps rarely get above 55C. However the pump is very loud. Even with everything at lowest settings the pump is still loud. Would recommend if you are okay with sacrificing noise for lower temps.

Please do not buy this.
I should mention first, I didn't buy this cooler here, but on Performance PCs.First, I'd like to lay out the Pros.1. It looks great.2. Easy to set the color you like3. Keeps my i7 3930k nice and cool. Now the problems.First, the customer service through Swifttech is garbage. I had chase the PPCs rep for updates, who in their defense, had to do the same because Swiftech is very unresponsive. Any updates we got were one sentence updates that didn't shine any light on the RMA status.Second, the cooler seems to quickly lose liquid through evaporation. I've had my cooler installed for around 6 months, and already it's in need of a refill. This ties into my next point.Third, the unit has to be completely removed to be refilled. The fill port where you can put the dye in the reservoir is on the bottom of the unit, underneath the reservoir. Removing the unit is a major pain, and requires fresh thermal paste after reinstalling the unit. Finally, as many have stated the reservoir is made of cheap plastic. This will cause leaks, as it has with mine. I attempted to remove mine for a refill, and found water on my desk.

Good, bad
Good, bad, ugly!GoodLove the compact style, expandability, HOLY QUIET! (Seriously quiet!), fans push some pretty good air. CPU block looks amazing. Love the external change switch capability on the PWM splitter.BadPackaging was wet inside.... Fittings are just garbage and flex around making it leak. Replace fittings with better quality fittings. VERY hard to get a full fill on the unit. Hard to get the bubbles out. Pump seems strong... idk why so hard to get the air out. Fan cables very short.UglyRGB are NOT full spectrum. The led's on the reservoir should not be visible under the shroud as dots. Should dissipate over the entire area maybe a good sanded acrylic rather than plastic.might look into replacing that myself.

Writing this to fix the skew of bad reviews.Other than being kinda hard to put on the processor, it installed fine and fit in the right spot on my case. It's pretty quiet and keeps it a lot cooler than my last Liquid Cooler by at least 7c and sometimes even 10c it looks amazing and is high quality too.Update: LED lights went out on the body and would like replacement lights. Thank you.UPDATE: Lights were replaced. Very fast too. Thanks!

Reliable Cooler ... Until it's not.
It works as advertised; very well. Maintains cool temperatures at any overclock my 5820K can handle.EDIT:This WAS a five star review, and I was feeling like I won the lottery, until the cpu water block leaked all over the backplate of my 980ti.This happened less than a year after I bought the cooler, but it was a gradual leak so I didn't notice it until the water in the reservoir started to get suspiciously low. I thought it was just time to top off the reservoir until I noticed a puddle of sticky cooked coolant just chillin on my gpu backplate. Not cool, Swiftech.
