Pure Natural Organic Feel: A Taste of Asia in a Can
Coconut water is a refreshing, natural beverage that has become synonymous with tropical regions like Thailand and Malaysia. I fell in love with it during my travels to Southeast Asia, where fresh coconut water is a staple. The convenience of opening a young coconut, sipping its delicious water, and feeling instantly rejuvenated is an experience unlike any other. The clean, slightly sweet taste of the coconut water, paired with the tropical atmosphere, made it the perfect drink after a long day in the heat. Over the years, this fondness for coconut water has only deepened. Upon returning to the UK, I found myself searching for a way to replicate that experience—something that captured the authentic taste of the coconut waters I’d enjoyed in Asia. After testing around 20 different coconut water brands available in the UK, I was pleasantly surprised to discover JAX COCO. To my delight, this coconut water truly stands out as the best I’ve found, and I believe it rivals the taste of the fresh coconut water straight from the source in Asia. JAX COCO’s coconut water is not only the most natural version I've tasted, but it also contains no added sugars or preservatives, making it feel as pure and fresh as what I experienced in Thailand and Malaysia. One of the first things that struck me about JAX COCO was the taste. The coconut water had an authenticity that many other brands lacked. It tasted fresh, pure, and subtly sweet, without the overpowering artificial aftertaste or overly sugary flavor that some other brands tend to have. This was exactly the taste I had loved in Thailand—fresh, delicate, and nourishing. The clarity and lightness of the water were apparent, and the flavor was remarkably clean, without the artificial taste of added sugars or chemicals often found in mass-produced versions. This made it stand out, as I had tasted countless coconut waters back in the UK that promised purity but fell short of delivering the actual experience.JAX COCO’s coconut water is sourced from volcanic regions in the Philippines, which contributes to its high quality. The volcanic soil in these areas is rich in minerals, giving the coconut water a slightly fuller flavor profile, which I found to be highly satisfying. The purity of the water also plays a role in its smoothness—there are no added preservatives or artificial flavors, just 100% coconut water, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys natural, healthy beverages. The can itself is designed to preserve the flavor and maintain freshness. Unlike other packaging options, which sometimes let in air or moisture, JAX COCO’s cans are robust and durable. The feeling of holding the can gives a sense of reliability, and it looks sleek and modern, making it just as stylish as it is functional. Whether I’m sipping it on the go or storing it in my fridge, I know the quality will remain intact. The design is also minimalist and elegant, which appeals to my aesthetic sensibilities, while also being practical and easy to carry.Coconut water can be enjoyed in various ways depending on the occasion, and JAX COCO offers versatility in how it can be consumed. For those sweltering summer days or after a tough workout, cold coconut water is undeniably refreshing. I enjoy chilling it in the fridge for a few hours before cracking it open and sipping it straight from the can. The cold temperature enhances its naturally refreshing qualities, helping me stay hydrated and replenished after outdoor activities, whether I’m running errands, going for a jog, or just enjoying the sun.On colder days, I prefer coconut water at room temperature, which allows the flavor to fully open up. There’s something comforting about drinking it this way. It’s a subtle sweetness that feels like a treat without being overpowering. In this form, it’s perfect for sipping while relaxing at home or even when working in the office, as the smooth taste provides a soothing break from coffee or other drinks.Interestingly, I also experimented with drinking coconut water warm, which was an unexpected delight. On chilly evenings, I heated it up to just above room temperature and enjoyed it as a comforting, hydrating drink before bed. The warmth brought out its natural sweetness in a different way, and it felt like a nourishing, calming option, especially on days when I felt a bit run down.Beyond drinking, I’ve discovered that coconut water is incredibly versatile in cooking, too. In the UK, many people associate coconut water solely with drinking, but I have found it to be a fantastic ingredient in various dishes, from smoothies to soups, and even as a substitute for regular water or stock in some recipes. One of the first things I tried was using it as the base for a smoothie, paired with some tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, and banana. The result was a creamy, delicious drink that was both refreshing and filling. The subtle sweetness of JAX COCO coconut water perfectly complemented the fruit flavors, and it was like a taste of paradise in a glass.I also experimented with using coconut water in place of stock in various dishes, such as curries and soups. In a chicken curry, the coconut water added a depth of flavor, enriching the sauce and balancing out the spices with its natural sweetness. This technique is widely used in Southeast Asia, and after trying it, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic way to enhance the flavors of a dish. The lightness of coconut water compared to coconut milk means you can enjoy the flavor without the heaviness, making it a great choice for lighter meals. In Malaysian and Thai recipes, coconut water is often used to add subtle flavor and to create a base for sauces and broths. For example, in a Thai green curry, using coconut water in place of regular water enhances the flavor profile and adds a beautiful richness to the dish. Similarly, Malaysian dishes such as laksa, a spicy noodle soup, can be made even more delicious with the addition of coconut water. It complements the spices and adds a unique layer of flavor, without overpowering the other ingredients. One of the reasons I love incorporating JAX COCO into my daily routine is the health benefits. Coconut water is naturally low in calories and full of electrolytes, which makes it an excellent choice for hydration, especially after workouts. I’ve found that drinking coconut water helps replenish the electrolytes lost through sweat, helping me recover faster. Whether I’m hitting the gym, running, or doing yoga, having a can of JAX COCO with me ensures that I stay hydrated in a healthier way compared to sugary drinks or sports beverages that are filled with artificial ingredients. The great thing about JAX COCO is that it’s also perfect for occasional consumption. I don’t feel like I’m overdoing it when I have a can here and there because it’s made with natural ingredients and contains no added sugars. Whether I enjoy it as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up or as part of my post-dinner routine, it fits seamlessly into my lifestyle. It’s a healthier, more natural alternative to sodas or fruit juices, and I’ve noticed that it helps with my digestion and gives me a slight energy boost. After testing JAX COCO and comparing it with other coconut waters, I can confidently say that this is the best I’ve found. The taste is exactly what I loved about the fresh coconut waters in Thailand and Malaysia—clean, crisp, and naturally sweet, with no added sugars or artificial flavors. The robust can design gives a premium feel, and the water itself is a joy to consume, whether cold, at room temperature, or warm. Additionally, the versatility of coconut water in cooking, combined with its health benefits, makes JAX COCO a perfect product for anyone looking to enjoy coconut water in its purest form. For anyone who loves coconut water or is looking to explore it in different ways, I highly recommend JAX COCO. It has made a permanent place in my kitchen, my fridge, and even in my gym bag. It’s the perfect drink for all occasions, and it consistently delivers the taste and purity I’ve been craving since my travels in Southeast Asia.

Delicious goodness
I have always loved coconut water. Sadly most brands have sugar in them. This one is lovely and not sweet. I use it for my smoothies or just have it as a refreshing drink by itself. I would recommend this product. Sadly it’s not available in all grocery stores. Hope they can work out a good deal with major grocery stores.

Not only it’s delicious and hydrating, but it doesn’t have additives like citric acid, added sugar, caffeine and ascorbic acid! So it’s the best coconut water in the UK that I found!

Best coconut water brand.
I have tried all brands of coconut water and this is my favourite and the taste takes me back to my childhood. The coconuts are from the Philippines but IMO taste better than Vita Coco's Philippine batch (Vita uses Philippines or Sri Lanka coconuts).I preferred the Jax coconut water with the coconut bits in it but unfortunately, it seems that Jax has stopped making that one which is a shame. (Hope they bring it back)This one gets a solid 4 out of 5, the one with coconut bits would be a 5.

Faulty packaging which harms product
The media could not be loaded. I at first loved these however have been getting belly ache. Today I realised why. The packaging is not suitable to keep the water fresh. I did prefer to contact the company but there is no option for that. Sadly it's a review instead. Avoid buying.
