Raw Buckwheat Honey by the Beekeeper's Daughter - 2.5 lb Jar (2.5 pound)

My husband and I first tasted buckwheat honey in North Carolina. We have found similar products, but none as satisfying until now! This buckwheat honey is so thick, you have to spoon it out. It's very dark and strong-flavored and opaque in texture and color. (It's not clear like most honeys.) It's almost like a jam or jelly. We absolutely love it on hot cereal, in hot tea, and plain off the spoon! :D

I had buckwheat honey few years ago in Poland. Loved the rich, complex flavor. This one is very similar and I am very happy to find it.

Strong flavored honey and very, very good. Has a kind of toasted flavor which must be the buckwheat.

I am a bee keeper since1991 and also sell Raw Honey, however I do not get Buckwheat Honey from my hives, I must buy from other producers . BUCKWHEAT HONEY is thick ,very strong flavored and very dark .This Buckwheat Honey by The Beekeepers Daughter is NONE of that .It is THIN (high in water content) somewhat too light in color and very lacking in the strong flavor of real Buckwheat Honey,almost no Flavor at all ..I bought 2.5 Lbs and it cost $8.00 a pound (not a bad price at all) + shipping totaling $25.98 to my door and I am very disappointed with it …As I have in the past, I would advise you to buy Buckwheat Honey where you can sample it as you purchase it .Good , real BUCKWHEAT HONEY is worth the search! Don't buy on from adds on line as you are stuck with this poor grade of honey and have no recourse ..Roger

This is truly raw and unfiltered honey. Tests and smells very good. I eat honey for more than 40 years and this one is one of the best.
